My 36 year old plastic wire-connector holder is broken and the two wires have about two strands left.

Does anyone have a method for replacing this vital plug? A source for a durable fix?

    Thanks.

Best you put a picture of the plug on here to see if we can recognise it

Vital? Don't know why it vital. But yes, those are available. https://www.ripca.com/nl_en/terminals-connectors/connectors/multiple-connector.html

Sorry. Ignore that. I see it is just broken wires. I still dont understand vital but the metal ends can be removed and replaced. The metal ends are not uncommon.

My wires are ok but my low oil light is still on, anyone know how to tell whether it’s the dipstick or dash module that’s bad.
    Thanks
Don’t want to hijack thread but seems connected

Failures of the electronic component were common. Sounds like this is one but you might trace it back. A connection issue in another point is still a possibility.
