Any tips/tricks to getting to the oil filter with a wrench? Can anyone recommend a type filter wrench to use? It looks pretty tight in there. Thanks.

I prefer strap wrenches like these. They don't harm the filter, and can usually fit anywhere.

Get the factory filter wrench. It fits the best and isn't that expensive.

Here's a picture of the Ferrari wrench, you should be able to buy from any Ferrari dealer - UK prise is £13.00

Ferrari part# 95971560 or you could buy direct from the makers Usag, their part# USAG D156.

It also will fit 348, 355, Mon t, and F50

.....and of course you need to remove the cross bar on the cradle so that you can do the job, and clean away dirt before removing and any spillage after...

    Daniel,

It looks like your third link, I will see if we have one in stock and double check.

Also I think Facom make the same tool for Renault Peugeot and Citreon

The first picture is the actual size of the wrench, the second is the wrench itself.

Isn't there a torque requirement for the filter? So I would think the wrench with the 3/8" drive would be the better choice.
