I took the car to the shop recently, it is said to be cam seals. However, all 4 cam seals and belt service were performed at Auto gallery service last year (reputable shop in SoCal).

The car just had annual fluid service performed a few weeks ago. Coincidently, I started to see drips of oil on the garage floor just a few days ago. It had never seen a single drop of oil from the 360 on my garage floor for as long as I have own the car.

Are there other areas I should look? Thanks in advance.

You need to get the undertray off to see where the oil is coming from. I had a similar issue recently and it turned out to be one of the power steering hoses as well as a leak from the RMS seal. The latter was NOT cheap to repair and had contaminated the clutch. :( The undertray holds quite a bit of fluid, so if it's dripping there may be quite a lot of oil pooling in there before it starts to drip.

I hope it's only minor. Let us know what the checks reveal...

Looks like engine oil. Hopefully just a small leak from the cam cover areas.
Reddish oil can be from the rear axle.

Yeah, like others are suggesting, remove the under panel and check where the leak is from. It could be as minor as a loose oil filter.

Thanks for all the replies, I will stop by friend's shop and use his lift and see if we can locate the leak.

Oil filter and power steering lines does makes a lot of sense. The fluid were replaced a few weeks ago. It may had took a few weeks for the undertray pan to accumulate oil before oil started dropping on the floor.

Just another question, if it was cam seals. I do not understand why the shop that serviced my 360 did not notice the leak before. The undertray had to come off for fluid change, high flow cats, and exhaust installation x2. They have taken the tray off at least 4 times total.

most likely just a hose clamp that went bad since you just had a service done. They can be easily bent and not hold the same pressure when the clamp is put back on. I'd check that first.

Thanks, she will be will the lift tomorrow afternoon.

I did inspect the car with the engine hatch open and looked into engine bay with a flash light, I can tell the oil is coming from the passenger side, the passenger side of undertray is wet, the driver side is dry. Also spoted oil dripped onto the alternator : (

    Jason,
From what you already describe seems that a lot of oil is already out of the car. Be careful to drive it if the oil is from the engine. Check all the levels just to be safe.

Unfortnately, the leak turn out to be from the cam seal on the front :(

I will need to have the seals replaced, that also means timing belt must be done at the same time. I checked engine oil level with car running after diving the car, oil level seems to be full.

Ironically the cam seals and 30k service was just done last year.

I got two quotes for the cam seals+timing belt parts labor:
    $4170 at dealer
    $4500 at independent shop

Is there a warranty when it was serviced?

I will contact the shop that performed cam seals and 30k service job last year. I doubt they will warranty anything.

If they don't warranty anything you are going to the wrong place. EVERYBODY should be covering their work for a year. That is pretty standard.

Like I told you via PM, cam seal leaks in 360 are very rare. They are often sold when in reality it is almost always the valve cover gaskets at the corners where they butt the cam seals. If they replaced the seals and they are leaking now it is very hard to imagine it is not their work that put you here.

    Thanks David,

It is a little bit of set back, I will need to saying bye bye to CS wheels XD

Other than that, the car has been a workhorse, reliable, and amazingly fun to drive. I will get the cam seals/timing belt job done soon.

The cam seals on the rear looks like a really easy DIY job. However, the ones on the front require removal of timing belt, that looks much more difficult.

I am just curious does it really takes 10 hours x $150 for cam seals? This is on top of $1800 labor for timing belt, parts additional $870. Total adds up to $4170, which is the best price I got so far.

$4100.00 seems to be a bit much. My Indy shop charges $1500.00 for belt service which includes the belts and Hill Pulleys. $250.00 for oil change including oil and filter. There main business is Ferrari and Lambos. Great guys, they have worked on quite a few of my friends cars as referrals. I am not sure what they charge for the cam seals, they had told me if they are not leaking then they will not open them up. Is that a good or bad idea that I cannot answer but. Wow $4100.00 seems like allot of mark up in the labor dept.

Rifledriver is 100% right at least some warranty on the labor would be a nice gesture from the Mech.

1 year warranty on work is pretty standard. Even 2 years is kind of standard from a dealership.

$4K isn't too terrible in the grand scheme of things. I bet you are paying a bit of premium. Make sure you ask for warranty this time and get it in writing!

This is the kind of gestures that separates business from good business.

I had the pleasure to help a friend check a Scuderia that was at the Auto Gallery a few months ago, and the experience in the showroom was impressive and delightful, and I was not even the actual buyer, just checking the car out for my friend. He bought the car and loves it.

I dropped off my 360 today at Auto Gallery. I want to commend John and Dave personally for extending their hospitality and for taking special care of me when I made my way over there.

Honestly, I didn't expect them to respond to my concerns from the post, since I did not contact them directly. John personally reached out and took the initiative to make things right. They literally took what I thought would become a huge issue and alleviated all my worrisome.

John also provided me with a Porsche Panamera as a loaner car. I tip my hat to you Auto Gallery for your warm and friendly staffs,
