Kuch suspension should of been 2-3 games. Cbj has a real good chance to put a stranglehold on the bolts next game.

Should have been 3 games. One game is a travesty

I don’t disagree one game was too light for this boarding hit, but the refs (for all playoff games) need to be more accurate and vigilant in order to prevent frustration from boiling over. The calls are wildly inconsistent, many are missed, and it pisses players off. Not an excuse for retaliation, but proper officiating would go a long way to balance out the players attitudes. I also wish they’ed get the hell out of the way and let them fight when it comes down to it. Separating guys and giving stupid minors doesn’t let them get it out. Fights do. The anger percolates and takes away from the game so just let them settle it and get on with the game!

Buh-bye Kadri! Dirty. Time and time again. 5 + games, maybe entire series/playoffs? This guy has the history of dirty.

Dallas almost had slashville for a second game. Hurricanes came from behind in a bold effort. I love Stanley Cup springtime! :)

WOW Colorado comes from behind with 2 minutes left and beats the Flames in OT. Flames fans in shock.

Disappointing to see Kadri acting this way.

In no way does this justify Kadri’s actions, but I thought Debrusk knee-on-kneed him and was surprised the referees let that one go.

And I’m with you about this time of year - it’s my favourite!!

And I am equally shocked. The Flames should be dominating this series, but at least they aren’t down 2-0 like Tampa

Looks like the Penguins (much to the delight of VGK) chose to keep the wrong goalie.

Malkin and Crosby have been invisible so far. Shame on both of them.

The match penalty on Ferland was a joke. Caps sticks to the face of opponents part of their tactics, and they get away with it. Let's go VGK. Let's go Canes. Let's go Flyers! (next year)

Really hoping for a cbj win tonight. But definitely can’t count out Tampa with their depth. I think this could be the best game of the first round.

Pretty close. So far the curse continues. Columbus might be giant killers. But if anyone can win 4 in a row its Tampa

CBJ is on a year end streak and that coupled with Tampa playing lousy puts them down 3-0. Once again the Lightning played a weak first half tonight. When they finally rallied and things started working they got screwed on a few no calls and the no icing call which turned into a Jackets empty net goal. Game over at that point. Once again refs are effecting the outcomes which is never good to see for any team. Not just for Tampa... Boston has seen a number of quite whistles too.

Simply exquisite day to be a sports fan. Doesn't hurt that it was 34 F, raining crappy windy here today, and tax completion was priority.

Four Cup games watched, 9am through 2pm Masters golf final round, and 430-630pm Indy Car race live at Long Beach! Wowsa :)

    vgk 4 now, SJ 1

The Vegas / Sharks series is by far the most entertaining of the playoffs. These teams are just GOING at each other. Lots of goals, momentum swings back and forth -- any scoring difference is not enough.

Mark Stone just playing incredible. Vegas played about the best 50 minutes this season. Fantastic forchecking and Fluery makes the best poke check of the playoffs on Kane.

Played during the Kane / Reeves fight :)

Shark's Thornton gives a cheep elbow shot to the head. Suspension? This made Fluery so mad he was trying to get at Thornton!

The Refs are the cause of this should have tossed both of them in the box, many opportunities, its no longer clutch and grab goon hockey, NHL is a Jekyll and Hyde league from regular season to playoffs, NHL needs to get a handle on this.
Does not justify what the kid did, however, the root cause is the NHL itself and the officiating
Last night clearly the NHL had a conversation with the Team Brass, both teams and the officials.....which will help the skilled teams, not just the Leafs
Who the hell wants to watch goon no skill hockey, are we going back to dragging our knuckles on the ground.
    Great game last night
