Wow the Leafs winning game 1 vs Boston tonight was a shocker. Leafs come into the playoffs cold while the Bruins were hot.

 

Columbus giving the Caps a scare

 

Caps able to do what the Lightning couldnt.

 

The Caps know they are in a series after last night. Carolina speed and forecheck the difference.

 

They didn't make it easy on themselves but they held on

 

They had a 3 goal lead. Cannot lose that game in the playoffs.

If Columbus wins this series, one play will be the reason; when it was 3-0 TB in game 1, TB had a 3 on none and Stamkos centred it for a sure goal. The Columbus goalie somehow made a miraculous save. That play is a goal 99 times out of 100. It would have been 4-0 TB at that point. Instead Columbus made the comeback and won that game.

 

Yes. We need all we can get for Boston.

Lightning looked like **** all night. Carrying over from period two and three from game 1. The officiating was equally as bad. Probably half dozen interference calls against CBJ missed in the second period alone. Of course we make our own luck - or don’t in the case of TB. They had better get their game together quick of they’ll be another President Cup statistic.

 

Winnipeg goalie sucks.
