Mark, Your car looks amazing in real life. It certainly was a crowd pleaser last Saturday at the show The eye for detail on the Pagani's is amazing. They really are a work of art. Wonderful addition to your collection. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Last Sunday i saw the Pagani Huayra that was shown this year at geneva motor show. The car has carbon everywhere some parts (most of the body) were blue carbon fiber, which looks absolutely insane. The edition is called gemini uno. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Enjoying it more and more as I get used to it but it's only been 150 miles. I'll write up something more substantial once I have more seat time. Initial impressions are: At times, it's scary fast and at others, I'm perfectly comfortable- prob due to where torque kicks in. I have to recalibrate as I'm not used to having such a low redline- more fun to get on it on the lower RPMs and let the torque push you back vs other cars where I'm used to 4K and up being the sweet spot. I love the way the steering wheel feels in my hands. Stereo is pretty decent and I'm enjoying the turbo sounds- not insane like my CGT but unique and special in it's own way. I like shifting with the center shifter- the paddles don't "click" or have that positive feedback so they're not as enjoyable as they are in the Stradale. The transmission is definitely a generation behind in terms of smoothness and shift speed. I feel like a celebrity's manager tho each time I drive the car with the car being the celebrity. It draws so much damn attention from car and non-car people alike. I had to recalibrate here too and just enjoy sharing it with people and just expect the attention. How about you?
I'm really loving the experience. Today I drove about 70 miles, mostly winding country roads with a few straights. I spent most of the time in 2,3 and 4th gear, between 4,000 and 6,000 revs. Accelerating and braking, waste gates opening and closing, aero flaps going up and down, lots of special noises. The car has so much drama. Agree the gearbox is not always smooth, reminds me a bit of a scuderia gearbox except smoother at higher revs but a little grumpier in first, especially uphill at a light when cold. The paddles are fun and the stick has that wonderful mechanical click. I feel like the car is both retro and modern at the same time. I can't explain it but it's an intoxicating combination. The car is such a jewel, I can't stop admiring it.
