    It never ceases to amaze me that the airlines think Los Angeles and San Francisco are international destinations, while Mexico, the Carribean, and Canada are all considered part of the US.

    I cannot tell you how happy I am that you guys came out here for the show. I cannot express my gratitude to everyone for supporting my insanity of the last few months.

    Seriously. Thank you. Everyone.

    Special thanks indeed go out to Rob and Kenny. Rob, who is off racing Lambos today, was an instrumental part of "Luke and Kwan" as well as the cars on the floor during the show. Of course, no Ferretti outing is complete without the occasional instigation for a 300' burnout of an SLR McLaren on the run way.

    ...and Kenny. What can we say about Kenny? Lots of Kenny moments: He asked Joe Rogan if he "banged Carmen". He drove an S7 and a Zonda C12 S "Monza" (Under push-power). He handled all the tickets for the car owners. He got all the rides in the show. He partied with Kid Rock and drank the band under the table. It would not have been AutoRox without Kenny.

    The show went unbelievably well. I'll post one new picture and a short audio clip. A picture flood will begin on Tuesday the 25th, courtesy of our good friend Kenny. We need to keep pics offline until after the show airs despite the fact that the winners have been announced. See the neatly typed yet awkwardly worded press release below.

    SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2005 Chevrolet Corvette drove away tonight with the top honors winning the car of the year category, "THE Ride of '05" at Spike TV's AutoRox, the first ever nationally televised auto awards show.     Too late for the good luck... show's "in the can" now (I think thats what Hollywood type people call it). But yes Emil, we all wish the show is a huge ratings blockbuster come Tuesday night.

    Sam - I think you'll be happy to know I greeted Emil with a "just want to say 'good luck' - we're all counting on you" just about every time I ran across him between Friday and Sunday (including on the set Sunday afternoon as everything was getting disassembled)

    He caved in to at least a smirk each time... occasionally as much as a chuckle. :D

    Autorox ROCKED!!!! great job in producing the first original car's award show. tofu and i had an awesome time making fools out of ourselves during the filming :) shouting like 15 year olds....pretending that Kid Rock is da sh!ts of Sh!ts........drooling over brook burke......and clapping like no tomorrow whenever a car strolls down stage!
