Depends on who you are asking. Ferrari designs are much more elaborate and aerodynamically intelligent. You just need to know where to look and understand something about automotive design. Lambo designs are meant for the poster above some young boys bed. There is really no designdevelopment between Countach-Diablo-Murcielago-Aventador. Just tweaking the overall design to whatever is the current flavour.

Whatever floats your boat I guess, but calling current Ferrari design 'weak' is simply way off the mark.

I am in 10000% agreement with you..

If you think Lamborghini design is all form and no function that would be a mistake.. the performance abilities of all the lambo's are top notch.. I am willing to bet on a track the F12 will be hard pressed to maintain the Aventador's abilities.

In fact if you research, lambo has been on par with ferrari if not faster with their counterpart vechiles.

Personally I think Bentley, Aston, Lambo have been making better looking cars the past 10 years than ferrari..

I am not thrilled with the 458's front end.. I am nauseated by the FF's front end and find the F12 impressive but not as sexy as the 599..

This might be the first modern Ferrari that I would put up with it bursting into flames. It's that beautiful. :D

I like the F12's styling over the 599's - because I never liked the 599's styling, but I have to admit that the F12's front grill looks too much like a face on a toy car; i.e. Chevron's toy cars, the movie Cars, etc. It's definitely an "acquired taste."

Some manufacturers seem to lean more toward lambo styling (i.e. new NSX) and I'm glad that Ferrari is not leaning in that direction. Ferrari has a style of it's own and I think it's a good thing. If people don't like how Ferraris are styled, they can buy something they find more appealing. :)

Way off the mark? In your opinion? You're certainly welcome to think that way but I think otherwise (as would others in this thread). I highly doubt that Lamborghini designs their cars simply for the purpose of "posterizing" their images. I am a Ferrari diehard like most here but I am not completely blind to reality. In my opinion the designs have been on the weak side every since the 360. The 458 is not bad but it is not reminiscent of the times that created the 355, 360, F40, F50 and many other classic Ferraris. It's my opinion and has nothing to do with "where to look and understanding automotive design." It's a matter of personal taste.

I don't like to be mean but i DISLIKE the design of F12.

    FF - The Wagon/Hatchback
F12 - The coupe. - It's just so similar with the FF. Nothing is too close on 599.

That lower front lip is painted as opposed to the official photo.
    Not sure which looks better.

not black but at least TDF!

think it would look better if the front splitter and rocker panel/sport sill were painted as well.

    Fantastic angle ! ! !

Yes, I do like it painted. Interestingly I am just now from this pic understanding why they did not have it body color to begin with.

Looks cool. I would order one matte red. I am dying to see one with this spec.

Best view, particularly when seen from normal standing eye height. Even better.

That color is very very nice on this car. Not too dark to blur the sharp lines, and not to light to yell and scream at the viewer. Very subtle. Very classy.
