Specs look like a standard F12 engine.
Engine on the F60 is a true F12tdf engine - see the VIN engine digits on both F60 and F12tdf. But other technical stuff such as the chassis, axles, trains etc... are they berlinetta or tdf? (No worries if you don’t know, I was just wondering about this model after you mentioned what’s under the 599s).
Yes, I see that now. Looked at the wrong source, apparently. Same good source quoted the chassis was F12, but the engine was TDF, so sounds similar to the SA Aperta. As you can tell, I do not track anything newer than the 599.
@Taz, thanks for your research and reply! From what I could read on various threads, yes you seem to be highly documented on « older » models, much more than recent ones - hey, we can’t know everything
Nope, i really think it is the body colour, n° 591 - below is an other Avio Met. 599 (but I have trouble to find 591 colour sample !) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sure indeed you’re right, Blu Avio is a shade... of blue! I don’t know why I was mixing with Bianco Avorio (avio...avorio... different words but that mixed up in my head haha). Thanks for the info Would be curious to know then the shade of white name that was used for this stripe on the Blu Avio SA Aperta.
Not sure the shade of this white comes across in the picture but it is for sale in Germany ..... Image Unavailable, Please Login picture is from the dealers website; Autohaus Saggio GmbH
The Sicilian countryside.... a Grigio SA Aperta... What else ?? Image Unavailable, Please Login Il cavallerizzo
I’m not a big fan of the black details on this kind of car, but I have to admit the black pillars on this car with this Grigio shade fit the lines of the car very well! It makes it sporty but doesn’t overstep its classy and elegant lines.
Yes the SA Aperta has been released in both LHD and RHD version. They are approx 10 RHD cars, with UK specs - none of the RHD cars have Australian specs.
Always a pleasure! Of course they have/had some https://www.dkeng.co.uk/search.php?search=Sa+Aperta+599 They mention 8 RHD UK examples; the few more RHD ones were supplied to other RHD countries.
I went to see the DK eng. page and come back to say you that he said 8 examples build for UK. Absolitly, I was thinking ferrari made some exemplars for Asia? Merci Victor!
I know 13 RHD, 8 are in UK, 1 in Guernesey, 1 in HK ( or was), 1 in Indonesia and 2, no idea ! As Victor wrote, no Australian exemple.
Didn't know there was a second Avorio SA Aperta - this one is currently for sale at Mechatronik with only 750km on the odometer Pics by Mechatronik Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I feel one was enough... Though I'll admit I prefer this spec to the one with the chocolate interior.
Is it known if this SA is cioccolato or iroko interior? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login T
Not sure, but looks Iroko to me. On review, I think my dislike of that spec has less to do with the interior and more to do with the black wheels... No quicker way to ruin an otherwise elegant color combo.
