    The Road America event just wrapped up. It's hard to say enough good things about the Modificata - it drives like an 488 GT3 with better aero, better brakes, superb suspension, and afterburners. Coming from the 488GT3, I found it instantly comfortable to drive, and it was communicative as I started pushing.

    As for how quick the GTM is? Well, let's put it this way: I've never driven at Road America before this event. And I've never driven the 488 GTM before Friday. And this morning I laid down this lap in 65F weather. It's just bonkers.

    One additional data point: Balzan took a 488 GTM out during the weekend and threw down a pair of 2:01 laps, with some time left on the table. Compare that to the 2:06 - 2:08 quali laps (under ideal conditions, sticker tires, light fuel etc. etc.) we've seen in GTD, and you have a good idea of the time delta between GTD/GT3 and the GTM at a fast track.
