I only produce content for commission, although this direct comparison might be a future assignment. I will however say that the weight saving (50KG) in the GT, plus different suspension and higher-lift cams (compared to S4 and 5.4 GTS) results in a similar experience to the 328, albeit with its mid-engine layout at the front. It can be hustled with sweetness through twistys and is much more on cam like the 3x8s. It has a bit more grunt but its really the engineering, chassis and poise that shines through. Like the 328, its solid enough to be used as a D/D. I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to buy one. Ofcourse others might disagree, as when comparing women
I posted my concours original U.S. 1986 328 GTS. Rosso Corsa/tan It is in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Rare prugna 328 for sale Used 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS for Sale in Marina Del Rey CA 90292 Chequered Flag International
+1 I've had both. Still have the 328. My 85 928 manual with 6k miles was a museum piece which I loved for the nostalgia, but it was a really boring drive.

9.700 km... Ferrari 328 GTS ABS - Prezzo: 138.000,- http://www.autoscout24.it/Details.aspx?id=299902180
Been for sale for quite sometime now, that one... Notice that this car is an interesting example of the overlap that did exist on the production line at the time of the changes: with chassis number 76888, that car is well after the suspension change (chassis 76626), but still has the "older" suspension and wheels...262 numbers later after the first change... Me too. I've been widely criticized by the 328 Mondial suspension crowd for expressing this opinion. Thanks for making me feel better. I think the source for my impression comes from the earily VW Rabbbits. The aftermarket wheels were always convex.
An ultra-rare 328 "Spyder" with the hyper-exclusive six speed transmission is coming up at Scottsdale: https://russoandsteele.com/vehicle-details/?show_vehicle=164672¤t_index=2&total_results=7&auction_pk=192&=&caryear=0&caryearto=0&search_text=ferrari&page=featured&showpage=1
OK, now down to $89,500. I think it actually started at $105,500. Somebody please buy this, I was planning on waiting a few more years to buy a 328. Prugna with crema is the top color combination for me.
I love it too; but as I have already a 328 GTB and a 328 GTS, three 328s would probably be too much. However, if a Prugna/Crema 328 was available anywhere in Europe, I could be tempted nevertheless...and I know how it would end if I went to see it "in the flesh". Rgds
Those are original suspension bushings etc... And original fuel lines on the tanks in the photos i could see... If folks are interested in this car, that should be factored into your decision. Its about $1500 in parts (more at dealer prices) and a bunch of labor hours. My local dealer quoted over $10K but i ended up replacing them myself. It is something I would want looked at on a PPI and negotiated. These cars are over 25 years old
It seems a little odd to me that the shop would replace the timing belts but only "inspect" the tensioner bearings. Feels like there's a lot of cost cutting going on here.
Why so cheap? Or maybe someone simply got an awesome deal? 1988 328 GTS, US car currently in Canada. Mileage - 33,766. Sold for $45.4k. Buy It Now was at $65.5k. ZFFXA20A1J0075860 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS | eBay
Something seems a little off. I can't imagine that the reserve price (assuming there was one) would have been $20k lower than the BIN price. It's hard to believe the market has cooled off that much.
