Oh yes, yes, certainly, I agree! But the trouble is that - and we are going back to the original question from Bertrand - as there was indeed an association between Ferrari and Cartier for the small accessories - pens, etc...- when you use the expression "Cartier interior", "Pelle Cartier" etc...many people think that the leather itself ("Pelle") is different, a special option if you like. Well it is not different, it is the same Conolly Vaumol as for the others colors, except that it is red... (To the best of my knowledge, the only cars with a different leather in the 308 family were the 20 (twenty) 308 GTS with an "all Schedoni interior" made on a special order for the Californian dealership in 1980) Rgds
I have a Ferrari World Magazine issue (pictured) that has an article on Schedoni. In the article there is a photo of an all-Schedoni leather interior in a 328, and the article says that it is one of a handful that they made for Hollywood Sportscars, a former authorized Ferrari dealer in Los Angeles. Apparently they did some 328's as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, I have never heard about this for the 328s; for the 308s, yes, but not for the 328s. perhaps someone as knowledgeable about these cars as Brian ("Rifledriver") would know? He was working in California until very recently, so my guess is that he would know. Rgds
Frankly, I'm just glad that finally I know something about 328's but you don't! Hahaha 😉 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looking closely, it appears to me that what appear to be stone chips are more likely reflections in shiny paint. Beautiful car, hopefully it found a loving home by now.
I have that issue of Ferrari World, but it's packed away in my garage. Otherwise I would post the photo where it says that it was commissioned by Hollywood Sportscars. There's no mention of a serial number, but you can clearly see that it's a full Schedoni interior. It is beautifully executed, and has that trademark Schedoni leather color. Maybe someone else has the issue and can post it up.
I needed to show you guys that this car exists, so I dug the magazine out of storage. I think the Schedoni leather looks pretty cool in a 328. Beautiful workmanship. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Augustine; so now we know there is at least one, perhaps even others (?) 328 with a Schedoni interior. And we can also see that it has the door latches at the end of the armrests, so it is not an early production car; and flag mirrors, so it must be a US model. Rgds
It also appears to have some suede as well, on the dash top and the tops of the door pulls, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Probably to redure reflections and glare. Remember that when you ordered the "leather dashboard" option, the factory accepted to make it in any color you liked, but nevertheless recommended that you stick with black because other colors gave too much reflections. Rgds
Its a very cool color combination, but I've seen the car in person and anything that looks like stone chips are actually stone chips. The front looks like it was machine gunned with stones, there is a dent in the front panel before the hood which is missing paint and these is a vertical slice in the paint on the drivers door which is missing paint (its not merely light reflecting off a panel), and there is a chunk missing from the front spoiler. The car is still for sale...its price has just recently been reduced to $150,000 which IMHO still seems like a lot considering its well worn condition. Also, the area around the speakers has similar treatment to what was done on 308s rather than carpeting covering the speakers. Very cool car. Thanks for sharing the photos!

Weird, wonder what the differences where with the two cars? I was just happy to see a few 3x8 cars sell for decent money the day after the Brexit shenanigans crushed the stock market Friday....
