same car sold in Italy in Padova around 100.000 euro late october it was for sale for a lot of time at 139.000 euro at no takers IT IS A VERY NICE CAR, but i am not sure it can go for 140.000 euro
VERY interesting, Emilio; thanks...Artcurial are very good at sales, so a surprise here could well occur. Rgds Bruno
Thanks, Emilio: I did not know it was the same car sold at Padova fair last october. If it's the same car, it really has 12 k km (I was told the mileage was true) and is a great car. The color is Blu Montecarlo? Let's see, I'm really curious. ciao Edit: prices at present times are a curious and funny thing. I put for sale my 328 GTS at 93 k euro in december 2014. No sale and I was informed that one dealer here laughed a lot at the phone with another dealer and told him "that's a crazy man, 93 k euro for a 328 GTS!". I removed the ad after some weeks and after one month I sold the 328 GTB (without any ad) at more or less the same price. One month ago I was called at the phone by a dealer that told me "I remember I saw the ad of your 328 GTS: give me your bank account data and i will send you the 93 k euro you asked". "Sorry, sir" I told him "the price now is 120 k euro: that's the reason why I removed the ad".
prices are crazy at least...you are correct i do think i sold my dry sump too quick but at the same time i bought well my GTB turbo silver car. already 2 dealers contacted me to buy that car as for dealer-broker: i have a similar history to your Alberto a broker contacted me since a customer wanted to buy my countach 400S for X euros then his customer lowered the offert before coming to see it "since a similar car sold for less at Padova" then he called me back since the customer wanted to buy the car for X euro again i decided to keep the car
Well done Emilio. The same I did with my Countach: maybe I sold it too early, even if I really could not stand it anymore, that car was a nightmare. But I purchased very well the Ferraris, if the prices remain at this level or even go up. Who knows. Nobody knows how the future will be: I still love vintage sport cars, and I still think they are a good investment too. And the same for you, I guess. So: maybe we changed horse, but we are still running. ciao Edit: If you paid your silver GTB turbo what you told me, it was a big bargain (but my silver one costed just 4,5 k euro more and It was a big bargain too, as it has everything). Keep it, as I firmly think it's the best investment in Ferrari vintage world today (together with the 575 Superamerica, but that's not a vintage car) and a great looking car too.
I would say it is a metallic color so more the Blu Sera (106-A-18), but I will go to see the car personnally, I will post some more comments.
Hello, I am wondering what the values are on the early eighties' Ferrari 308 GTxi with the Norwood turbo kit installed. Does anyone have any idea about bump/reduction in value for this alteration? Perhaps there is already a thread about this that I haven't found yet? TIA
true: love these cars. from 70's to 90's. the later cars i am not a huge fan i would take an F40 over a La Ferrari every day! same for diablos VS aventador... design of new cars does nothing for me. GTB turbo i also think a good bargain, even if i estimated not few $$$ of mechanical worcks. i think is such a nice and special car it cannot go lower...and i love the fact mine is silver! i am not a fan of red cars so i am happy i found one of the few not red turbos!
I know the car personaly, it's blu dino metallizzato and it's VERY clean. It was offered here in northern germany for a relative long time (135k if I remember correctly). Another drysump at the same dealer was blu sera at the same time and was sold to Japan for 125k. @EMILIO: You also have a silver turbo GTB ? Like Alberto's and my car ? Keep it ! Keep it ! The small turbos are comming to rise through the rooftop ! Traders now collecting every turbo to get and storeing them until to sell for 100k PLUS ! I know one Dealer, who has currnetly stored 7 (seven) Turbos !
Blu Dino Metallizzato 106-A-72 ? Well, you see me a little surprised, Markus, it looked darker than this on the pictures... Rgds
No mistake ! These pictures are from the BLU SERA car at the same dealer, the BLU DINO MET car (#23027) was side by side at that time. Sorry to be unable to show one picture with both cars. Only for comparison, here pictures of the BLU SERA MET 308 GTB to see, that blu dino met is much brighter. Yes, I know Blu Dino Met is brighter than Blu Sera; what I was trying to say is that on the Artcurial catalogue pictures, the Blu looker darker than Blu Dino Met to me. But if you are sure, then "Blu Dino Met" it is... Thanks Rgds
I'm confused. Slow windows (not exactly rare), timing belts, aftermarket wheels, somewhat dirty engine bay, considerable mileage, does this all represent some 70-90 K euro discount ?? (run for your lives ! The Bubble is bursting !! ;-)
I think they did a wrong estimate for that car (that's not perfect at all, I know a bit it, but that's a too low price). ciao
Sorry but we are talking about a (not at all but mostly) "not clean but only red" car, wich only benefit is the glass-body. I beleive, it will go for 130k Euro - not more.
I received pictures of that car since last november, they are trying to sell it since many months: means something is wrong with that car, I think. In any case the estimate is wrong (those are prices for steel cars). ciao

and obviously clean and original ! 130k for the auction car plus 50k for refurbishing equals 180k (for the others) or just 220k resale price. Sorry, but just my 2ct.
