Official 2008 Tri-State Spotters Thread

today Nissan Skyline R33 GTR on Cross County parkway near Mount Vernon, NY. That's the second R33 GTR I see around here...the other one is from NJ and is always on Fchat events.

 

I've seen white R34 on the Belt Parkway near JFK

 

MB SLR @ a body shop of RT4 East right before the GWB / Fort Lee Exit. This is the second day I saw it there. First I thought it was a SLK, today I noticed the signature vents. This shops had a yellow 348, I think, few weeks back.

 

Was it silver? I saw a silver one with a f/s sign on it in the same area. I'm in MV too.

 

That is H & Z Auto Body... Zuri is the owner.. He does the work for Benzel Busch M.B. in Englewood. That 348 belongs to his brother in law. Was in a dance or two..

A super interesting sighting Friday (?)- a two-toned 612 in burgundy and black. Awful pictures as I was jogging to catch it before the light changed. In Kipps Bay / Murray Hill.

Yeah I was going to snap a photo today, but it was closed. They always have some nice cars sitting outside, either pre or post bodywork. Wonder if that SLR was a dealer car or someone owned it.

Friday- Silver Nissan GT-R in fort lee on palisades ave. in the pouring rain
Sat night- Black 575 in the meatpacking dist. and a MB E63 wagon on 9th and 44th st. (I was actually a little confused at first cause at the agle I was at it looked like a streched out e63 from the front)

Black Lotus Esprit near Quakerbridge Mall in Lawrenceville

 

Tesla Roadster (I think Jamie Lee Curtis's) outside Tarry Lodge in Port Chester last night.

 

IN Bronxville I saw a Ferrari Superamerica silver amazing car

Red Ford GT racecar (number 10) on IU Willets in Albertson
Yellow F360 Spider on Northern State West

... just another day on Long Island

Ferrari 612 Scag, Black/Tan, HRE Rims(?) - Englewood, NJ

 

Today 11/23 about 3:40pm on the Pal Parkway Southbound before the Englewood/Norwood exit spotted a Grey 575 Super Americana with FL plates. Some guy with a grey beard and glasses was driving. I had to catch up to him, and he kept switching lanes like it was going out of style.

 

So its not a Sessanta?
