I powered through this thread during the last 3-4 days, it's ok, I don't have to write my thesis or anything. Amazing photos and stories everyone, sadly I was born too late, and born into a family and country where motorsports doesn't matter. But I'm absolutely fascinated by motor racing from the 70's and 80's. I hope there will be much more stories and pictures. Thanks everybody!

My slides are all in storage in Florida. I have been in Mexico with my wife since December dealing with health issues, but I did remember I brought a few slides with me. I found a local service to scan and digitize. Hopefully I did not post some of these photos before. This is Mario leading Rutherford at MIS: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was going to do the same, you beat me to it, thank you. I forgot I brought some slides with me here in Mexico, will drop them off tomorrow to get scanned. I hope I have something to contribute later this week.
I have a bunch of slides shot from 1977 thru 1989 that would fit this thread fine; now all I have to do is get them out and digitize them. Unfortunately, with my schedule that will not be soon; I just hope that it doesn't have to wait until after I retire at the end of 2017!
I have similar, but on VHS, most races on TV or cable during that time frame. F1, NASCAR,, IMSA, USAC, whatever their name at the time. Tapes in storage in Boca Raton, I am in the mountains of northern Mexico. 2017 would be optimistic.
Not sure if this photo I took was posted in this thread before, found it on an old laptop of mine. Mark, at Mosport: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Found these photos of mine on an old laptop of the Lotus team at Long Beach. Posted the mirror photo before, but I do not think I posted the others: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Actually, you are partially correct. It was a Matra Simca at the Glen 6 hour. The one driven Pescarolo. I was standing next to the car during practice, forgot my earplugs. Had a ringing for days, and did realize a bit of hearing loss. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I totally forgot about this photo I took of the other Rosberg in a Theodore. Sorry, not a really good scan: Image Unavailable, Please Login
For you Franco, some of my photos of MD. The one with the IROC trophy at Daytona, after the bad day, Penske asked for a copy. My hero also: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The F5000 car(Formula Continental) looks like Mid-Ohio, is it 1970 or 71? The car looks most unsanitary for a Penske entry, they didn't compete in many races did they?
