    Hi Guys,

reading about the mattel license from Ferrari and all the issues, I was wondering if anyone here can give me some information on how to obtain a Ferrari License, I have a few interesting projects/products that could be sold under a license, but I´ve tried to contact them, and it seems like they really don´t want to answer what I ask, or I´ve being knocking in the wrong door. So I´m asking you for some help if you can give me some advice on this?

    Thanks in advance.

HQ in Maranello receives a lot of various questions and proposals, but they won't (and probably can't) answer all of them. First you have to persuade your local Ferrari-dealer/importer - and if you are able to persuade them, they'll have to contact Maranello.

ok, the F dealer already sells and shows my products in their shop. but I want to make them "official", I was wondering if any of you knew the process or something, if someone makes some Ferrari official products. I´m going to ask my friend at the dealer to send a letter to Ferrari.

    thanks for the tip

If they say Ferrari or have the Ferrari trademarks, you could wind up getting a cease and desist order from them instread. A friend of mine had some bags made up that specificaly fit the Porsche Boxter, and called them "Boxter bags". WHen he applied for licensing, he got a couple steps into the process, then Porsches lawyers ended up sending him a nasty-gram.

Good Luck though! I'd love to see "the little guy" win!
