How many 2005 360 Modena Spyders were shipped to the US? I have been told 20 or 21. Does anyone know? Or how can I find out? Also, how can I find out what number production my 2005 Spyder actually was?

Did ferrari ever make a "Modena Spyder"? Was it a one off for a well heeled Sheikh?
As far as I'm aware, Ferrari only made a Modena, Spider and CS for the road.

When I was looking, I recall being told 27 US 360 spiders were made (designated as 2005 models). Also, I think 11 of them were stick, the rest were F1. If you call Domani motors in Deerfield beach, FL they know exactly (the owner Michael is a very nice guy) - they were the ones who told me and they often sell an 05 360 from time to time.

Is 27 a typical number per year for the US 360 spiders, or was production down for 2005?

I'd figure 27 would be an exceptionally low number compared to other years. Considering that Ferrari moves ~1600 cars a year here, and the large majority of them are the mid-engine V8s, and that the Spiders outsell the coupes here by a fair margin, I'd say the peak number per year was at least 700-800...

The 05 360 production numbers are low because the 430 was released in 05.

More Spiders than coupes for the 430. There were more coupes than spiders for the 360.

low miles and service from a private party, that was a good deal. I guess it was one of the 27? I heard about 50 total.

    For the Record,
I have a 2005 (model year) 360 Spider Red black with red stitching and a 6 sp manual. chassis #39781
Sold new (delivered) on Dec 18 2004 by Ferrari of Seattle. It is one terrific car.
It is my understanding it is the last 360 spider delivered into the state of Washington.
I would also be interested to know how many 2005 spiders were brought in.

I note the inside rocker panel is different on your 05 360 spider that my 02. In particular, there is aluminum that cover teh door sill and drops over the edge and into the footwell area. Mine is entirely carpet. After a second look at the interior picture, it looks like a covering - did you add this to ptoect the carpet in this area?

I have one of the 2005 Spyders as well. Corsica Red, F1, Challenge grills, red stitching on dash. Beautiful rolling piece of art. Can anyone shed some light on why Ferrari's are losing their value so quickly? This vehicle is worth 1/2 what I paid for it. I bout it in 2008 with 5700 miles and today it has 8500 miles. I know, I know I need to drive it more. I agree!

Its just a car and cars depreciate: to only lose 50 % compared with almost any other car over the time frame has to be viewed as a success
