Short film on the NSX and one of the people associated with it's refinement, Ayrton Senna. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fg-oiuU0Nzc
Just wanted to show you all what we stayed up all night and morning yesterday to complete. Enjoy the 1st ever 2017 NSX with drop and HRE's https://www.instagram.com/p/BLzbG5gAUqT/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BLz_Rd3DLqj/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BL0AyBnjRJd/?taken-by=wheelsboutique https://www.instagram.com/p/BL0-viigXnX/?taken-by=david.nussbaum
I have done a belt/pump change with the engine in. The balancer nut is a *****. A nice thing about the NSX (and 308/328 Ferraris) is that a lot of stuff you can do yourself. I like the manual steering hardtop 91-94s best. Mine has 14K miles and still smells new inside. It has a set of Technomagnesio rims on it. IMO the best looking and era correct rim for that car. I just love that wheel ! Deciding whether to put on a Comptech supercharger or not. The car needs some extra boost IMO and the Comptech was a factory approved option that some dealers installed. About 80 HP increase. Don't know if this would mess up the originality significantly. Was thinking about a turbo (which SHOULD have been a factory option) but even though that's the "best" performance option would kind of screw up the car. There are kits out there for $8K that transform the car. 400HP max 300 ft/lb torque max on stock drivetrain is the consensus. Its good to see the NSX getting the respect it deserves. A Milestone car (of which there are only a handful).
Fanastic video by Jethro Bovingdon on the NA2 NSX-R driving experience (oh, and the new one is thrown in there too). His comment on the R vs. an F40 at the end is telling... (direct link wasn't working, click the link on his tweet below) https://twitter.com/JethroBovingdon/status/805779669370937344
Federal law requires parts must be available for at least 15 years after the last car is manufactured. I do not think the law has changed. best Lee
So what is the FChat version for NSXs? Any other good sites to learn about them? I'm really thinking I want to get one.
