With the introduction of the new 488 GTB and it's new twin-turbo V8, the automotive world showed concern in mainly only one aspect: the exhaust note. Well, an exhaust can surely fix that in most platforms, and the 488 is no different. However, an aspect the automotive world rejoiced over was that magical thing called boost.

Starting off with a high-powered turbo car opens up a lot of doors for increases in power, and thankfully for us, Novitec Group is always on the forefront of innovation, and they love opening doors.

Introducing the Novitec Rosso N-Tronic ECU Upgrade for the 488 GTB.

The N-Tronic upgrade is a processor-controlled device designed to be connected to the original engine control unit, via the Plug & Play wiring harness included in the kit. The kit includes two Novitec N-Tronic modules, that are ready to mount and be installed. It's a very easy process.

The kit can be activated/deactivated with the Manettino at the steering wheel.

Here are the performance figures from Novitec:

    Performance: 556kW (756 hp) / 7.900 rpm
    Max Torque: 877 Nm (647 lb/ft) / 3.200 rpm
    0-100 km/h: 2,8 sec

We do seem to be spending the majority of the time looking at the LED shift lights.

Here's a video of our 488 with Full Novitec Carbon Fiber add-ons, Novtec Stage 2 Powerkit with the Non-Valved Exhaust the Cat Delete Pipes.

Hello! While there is a grey area here, not necessarily. That is the beauty of this product in particular. You may remove it entirely from the vehicle prior to a dealer visit, rendering it undetectable :) That said, it is ALWAYS best to consult with your service advisors before anything.
