Ugly wheels for the F12. Both of them. IMHO.

763 hp, a top speed of more than 345 km/h, high-tech forged wheels:
The first NOVITEC ROSSO tuning stage for the Ferrari F12berlinetta

The Ferrari F12berlinetta has arrived! The first vehicles have just been delivered to their proud owners and already NOVITEC ROSSO, the world’s leading tuner for the powerhouses from Maranello, ignites the first tuning stage: The V12 Coupe receives a power upgrade to 561.5 kW / 763 hp, giving it a new top speed of more than 345 km/h. The car’s appearance and handling are further improved with NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs and high-tech forged wheels with diameters of up to 22 inches. Exclusive interior appointments round out the product line-up for the two-seater.

Performance optimization and an even sportier exhaust note at the push of a button. The first performance package for the 6.3-liter V12 of the F12berlinetta leaves the inner workings of the engine untouched. Newly calibrated mapping for injection and ignition boost peak power output from standard 545 kW / 740 hp to 561.5 kW / 763 hp at 8,500 rpm. Peak torque grows to 703 Nm at 6,300 rpm.

The NOVITEC ROSSO engine management systems does more than just optimize peak power output, pulling power and throttle response. Raising the redline speed to 8,900 rpm makes the spacing of the gears of the 7-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission working even better. This also benefits performance as evidenced by a new top speed in excess of 345 km/h.

The NOVITEC ROSSO performance kit also provides an acoustic highlight: After the conversion the driver of the F12berlinetta can change the exhaust note of the standard exhaust system from subtle to extremely sporty by turning the Manettino switch on the steering wheel to open or close the butterfly valves in the exhaust.

Additional performance stages NOVITEC ROSSO performance stages for the 12-cylinder engine and an aerodynamic-enhancement package are currently under development.

Wheels makes cars: This axiom naturally also holds true for the Ferrari F12berlinetta. As an upgrade to the 20-inch production wheels the NOVITEC ROSSO suspension engineers have developed two custom-tailored tire/wheel combinations. By choosing a staggered combination of 21-inch wheels in the front and 22-inch wheels in back the engineers not only emphasized the wedge-like shape of the new top-of-the-line Ferrari, they also refined its handling.

A particular bright spot offered by NOVITEC ROSSO is the high-tech forged wheel for the sports car. Despite its king-size dimension the NF4 wheel with five delicate double spokes is one of the lightest of its kind in the world. The resulting reduction in unsprung weight plays a significant role in the car’s even more agile handling.

The NOVITEC ROSSO NF4 9.5Jx21 wheels for the front axle are mounted with Pirelli high-performance tires in size 255/30 ZR 21. For maximum traction the rear axle is fitted with size 12Jx22 wheels, shod with size 335/25 ZR 22 tires.

Also available for the F12berlinetta are three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 alloy wheels in sizes 9.5Jx21 in the front and 12Jx22 on the rear axle, mounted with the same tire sizes as the forged wheels. These wheels also have a striking design with five double spokes and polished outer flange. As for all other wheels, NOVITEC ROSSO offers individual color schemes, including outer flanges with carbon-fiber coating.

The exclusive appearance can for the time be upgraded further with black NOVITEC ROSSO side markers that will be complemented with black tail lights in the near future.

NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs lower the ride height of the Ferrari by up to 40 millimeters, lending the car an arresting appearance and further enhanced handling as the result of a lowered center of gravity.

For added utility the German specialists equip the F12berlinetta with a lifting system for the front axle. At the push of a button in the cockpit the front of the car can be raised by 40 millimeters to facilitate navigating obstacles such as underground garage entrance ramps or speed humps. Upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h the suspension automatically reverts to its original position.

NOVITEC ROSSO also offers total individuality in the interior. The product program offers countless options from carbon-fiber shift paddles to exclusive Alcantara and leather interiors in any desired color or upholstery design, each masterfully and meticulously crafted down to the last detail.

Normally, I like the Novitec stuff. However, the changes to the engine and performance on this one just seem to leave me lacking. Not a big HP boost. Sound like a lot of buck and not much bang.

God that is gorgeous. Lowered and new wheels really complete the car. The standard ferrari wheels are too tame for this car. Now it does look like the monster it is.

Yellow is my favorite color so far. This is so much more desirable than an Aventador.

Just to address some comments here, there is many more parts coming in 2013. Novitec has always waited to release a full package of parts until everything is ready which is usually a year or a year and a half after the car is available. We had a lot of customers wanting parts sooner so they decided to try a "soft" release on parts that could be shipped now like wheels, spacers, power kit and the side markers. A full program like what you see for the Ferraris of the past will be available in the future.

While I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, is it just me or do others feel the F12 looks like the FF? Maybe it may take some getting-use-to but, imo, this F12/FF design seems to be missing the flowing sculptured design so prevalent in so many earlier Ferraris. I wonder what the concept for the next generation may look like?
