Dave, I just placed an order for four tee's. Yellow would be my favorite(is that a suprise seeing as my Modena is yellow) but whatever color you all decide is best is fine with me. Suprise me!! Thanks for doing this tee to comemorate the event. Will we make them up again for sale to the participants of the Second annual Mason/Dixon Rally? Jon in Delaware

Holy S....t Drew. All four wheels bent? That is amazing. A good place to have those straightened is sports Car Tire in Wilmington Delaware. Les Tronzo owns the place and is a good guy. Tell him Jon sent you...he probably willl charge you double.HaHA. I will be a little more cautious next time I lead you down the "path of destruction" Jon in Delaware

Drew- Really sorry to hear about the damage. The important thing is nobody got hurt. You and Jon can always throw the pants and scivvies away and I understand Meguiars has some great stuff for soiled seat leather.
I have a feeling Jon , that with all the interest on this run next year we'll have to have about 8 or 10 groups next year. Man what a blast it was. Maybe on some nice days before spring we can take some recon runs for the spring run.

honetly, I am happy with as little real damage as I recieved...I was expecting worse...Dougherty's is going to straighten the wheels and do the work as I was able to talk to bill and drop it off that night...

I really had a great time and cant wait for the next run...I just may look out for those hills a bit more next time...

Jon...Im honestly happier that YOUR car didnt get damaged more as those parts would be twice as much as mine....im "only" looking at a 5 k repair and that includes the new headers and a load of small parts and labor charges...better then a 26k engine rebuild.

Were we maybe a little exuberant in our driving?

Next time, run with the first pack. The old guys ran a nicer, gentler pace.

Sorry to hear about the damages all around. We probably should cross some of the bumpier roads off the list for next time!!

    Sechgang,

Are your wheels noticeably bent? Do you have a wobble at speed?
I'm really surprised at the wheels being bent.

It was a blast though. Our run was a little spirited.

ya, there was wobble...not much in the front but the rear had a definite vibration...the others are slightly bent and seeing as how those will be my rain wheels for the upcoming PCA clubracing season...i need them pretty perfect...

WOW!!! First of all, hats of to everyone that organzied this and attended, looks like it was awesome! It's good we can get the MD/VA crew together with the PA guys. Looks like a hell of a good time, with some good stories. I'm sitting here eagerly awaiting more pictures.

With all those cars you guys traveled in groups? 1 car in each group had a walkie? I wish I could have gone but I was stuck at school next year I will make it for sure. Here's looking towards the Spring Thaw!

    Sechsgang,

When does the race season start? Is it the local Porsche club? Are other cars welcomed or just porsche?

    I wouldn't mind getting a carb'd 911 and thrashing it at a track. That's the reason I'm asking.

    Jim
