Carbon, Could you give me a little bit of info on the El Paso Enzo? I know that in 2009(I believe this is the correct year) a man in El Paso sold his red Enzo through a high end shop in Dallas(Ruf Auto Centre). I believe this car then went to California(don't quote me on that). I might also add that Ruf is a sponsor on here. I was able to dig up the ad which listed the VIN: ZFFCW56A3301131325 Also, a couple Enzos have been up at Boardwalk Ferrari/Maserati recently. You should check the Dallas Ferrari spotters thread in the Texas section for more info. One red and one black. There are pictures of the black but none of the red. Sorry if this is a repost or you already know all of this. If you need any more info, please send me a PM.
Not sure if it has been added, but I heard from a reliable source (friend) that there is a collector by the name of Bob Lee in Sparks, NV(right next to Reno). I haven't personally seen his collection, but I know he has some very special Ferraris; one of which is an Enzo. I believe it's red, but not 100% positive on that. -G.B.
I don't know that Bob Lee owns anything (car-related) that was built after the '60s. There's a Bob Lee in NY who's had contemporary Ferraris pass through his hands.
I could be wrong, but a friend of mine views his collection and said there's an Enzo in there and I think there's a 288GTO. Again, I don't know this for a fact; just from what I've heard. -G.B.
Hi, Duke... Yes, the one that was for sale at RUF was 131325 - I have no history on it since RUF sold it. I don't know the black Enzo that's in Texas - unless Cartie Biele's Enzo has returned.
It wouldn't surprise me - Bob has great taste in cars! I've just never heard of him owning anything newer than a SWB Speciale.
Someone told me that 131325 went to California. The black Enzo that just came to Dallas is from Florida according to someone who talked to a mechanic at boardwalk. The red one is from the east coast apparently. I'll do my best to confirm this. Could you tell me about the yellow Enzo in Dallas? I've never heard of it nor seen it. Thanks.
Carbon: Lee owns a series of post 1960s Ferraris incl. 2311, 2613, 2893, 4423, 09801, 12493, 17051, 29264 (not a mistake!), 54217, 87473, 124028, a 412 Automatic, and many many more. Marcel Massini
Does he ever drive it? Do you know where in Dallas this car is normally driving around or where he lives?(I don't mean address but general area ex:HP Preston hollow, downtown, Plano....) I can't believe I had never heard of this car until yesterday.
Thanks, Marcel! Does Bob own an Enzo? I, too, am very curious about this; though if I had to guess, I'd say it's a 308.
That car has been in Texas for more than half a decade. Oddly enough, there's a yellow Enzo in Canada with the same plates (albeit, Canadian plates).
Well that answers the question of who owns the red Enzo in Austin. I wonder if he keeps it around his speed shop...
There are two red Enzos in Mexico City and a yellow one just arrived to The Woodlands Texas about a month ago, owned by a Mexican collector.
^The black Enzo is Roger Penske's. Rumored to be a red one here in Nebraska with under 20 miles! (joined by a 288GTO, F40, and others)
