David, No rush on that. We had a big event, and we missed you. We will do again next year for sure. Roofguy came with his Mondial convert, and Scott came from Sacto with his very hot turboed Mondial coupe. Yours would have made it a hat trick. Hope the family is doing ok.
Greg, This was the first time I have been able to make an outing with a bunch of other F cars. It was a lot of fun. I have to say that Mondial 8 sounded fantastic. It would be something I might do if clutchs didn't cost so much. I bet it gives those 360's a run for their money. Anyway, thanks for the good time. I will stop in next week to talk about my house.
Dennis, I have Scott's contact #. His Mondial is incredible and he machined a ton of those parts himself. He's very clever. I think he'd love to share the info. Was pleased you could make the function, and your car looks great with the 360 rims. Stop by when you can.
Sorry I missed it, Greg - ended up being out of town. DEFinitely count me in for next year, though!!!
I have it posted already for October 7, 2007. So, all mark your calenders for that date. Don't miss it. See you then, Aaron.
I got volunteered for something else at the last minute and could not go. If there is another get together in the area sometime soon I'll bring it. It hasn't had much use in some time so we need to get it out more. Esp with gas under $3. Lets see what is $2.75 x 45 gal / 7mpg. Yea I guess I can afford to drive it somewhere.
Pretty funny! I probably could not afford the gas to start it! Then again I can hardly "pay" attention.
Tell me the time, and I'll be there. I'll even buy lunch since the gas cost will exceed the lunch bill. BTW, still waiting for an answer for you. Do I need a ladder to climb into that thing?
Greg, Thanks again for the great time!! I love these events, fun people, good food, dream cars, ... oh, and of course sexy lingerie models! Lyndon, I am so jealous!!! You got Angela to pose in front of your car - D-u-U-d-e, I am still recovering from those pics... Kirby, I love you maaan! Please do this again soon ;-) OK, here are a few pics from the drive and the BBQ... PS: Sorry, I can't roll down the lexan windows so there's some glare on some pics... Haha, I already put the passenger seat back and also added a couple of "Recaro" baby seat at the back as well!
Well, we can certainly do that but w/o the barbecue. I offered to host a monthly Sat AM get together with coffee/bagels, but the feeling was many wanted to meet in the Dublin/Pleasanton area. Let me know what the concensus is and I'll make plans.
