So my SF90 spider allocation finally cleared and I have to lock down my configuration this week. Deposit in April 2021 to now is a long time and my thoughts on the config have shifted a bit. I need some help and input from you SF90 forum experts:

    - all along I had been thinking to spec the Assetto Fiorano (AF) package. Drop 66 lbs of weight off the car, get some nice titanium bits and have that lovely rear carbon spoiler. The car looks so much better IMO

    - I’m now leaning towards dropping AF (save $56K), add front lifter and install an after market (Novitec or other) rear deck spoiler. Lots of nice options have emerged over the last two years which have me questioning AF

So, does anyone have direct experience with aftermarket spoilers on a non-AF car? Details? Likes and dislikes? Pictures? Recommendations?

The Assetto Fiorano spoiler? Hmmm…that would be good.

I have an AF spider, so I don’t have experience with the Novitec spoiler. But, it looks to be quality and Novitec seems to be a reputable company. Hopefully you find the wait to be well worth it. Such a fantastic car!

Oh sorry I do not have it installed yet since my SF90 is still in the port waiting custom clearance right now. As far as I know, dealers in my country seems can't order the spoiler only for my non-AF vehicle.I ordered this spoiler together with the novitec exhaust from a tuning store who has already sold 10+ OEM spoilers to SF90s.

Finalized the entire spec today. Looks stunning on the screen
I went with Rosso Corsa Metallizzato (slightly darker Rosso Corsa with metallic flakes) with a Black roof over Cuoio leather and way too much carbon inside and out. Novitec rear spoiler will get ordered in the next couple of months as will new wheels. Now the wait begins…anywhere from late August to mid-October delivery TBD

I paid about 15k USD for spoilers but I bought my SF90 in mainland China. So I believe you can get a much better price in EU or USA ;). The price for OEM spoilers is almost identical as novitec ones here due to the custom taxes.
Here are some pics from other SF90 owners in that store

In the US (at least my dealer), the rear spoiler only comes with the Assetto Fiorano (AF) package which is $57K and comes with a bunch of very cool track oriented Titanium and carbon bits which save 66lbs in total car weight. And, that package precludes you from having a lifter and adjustable suspension. I love the look with the rear carbon spoiler, but it’s tough to deal without some of the other bits….so, the aftermarket steps in. Novitec offers both a lifter for AF cars and a rear carbon spoiler for non-AF cars. Ferrari in the US do not offer the spoiler on non-AF cars. You cannot buy it from service nor spec it on the car (at least that’s what I’m told). I’ve opted to go non-AF (saving $57K and getting back the standard adjustable suspension. Then adding lifter for $4.9k plus AFS required with the lifter for $4.2K) and add a rear carbon spoiler after market for $12K. Add it all up and it’s roughly the same (saving $20-$25K on a $650K car is close to the same ), but I like getting the lifter and adjustable suspension.

My dad would say “six of one or half a dozen of another”

Like the thought process you put into this, but the 20k saving if that’s what I understood, will be eaten away immediately and some, come resale, with after market options. Would have thought the best option was to add AF pack and add Novitec Suspension Lifter for $4.9k, think that is a very viable option for AF owners.. I’ve never had any ground clearance problems on my AF, had some issues with my Pista, same roads, so I don’t get this suspension lifter issue, but good to know Novitec offer a lifter option for AF cars for the next owner.. I’m sure it will be a lot more than $4.9k over in UK

@JJ77 valid point, but I wasn’t really focused on savings. When I fully spec’d my config in AF vs my config in non-AF the two costs are very close (non-AF is slightly cheaper, but not material on a $650-$700K vehicle). I wanted the spoiler AND the adjustable suspension (read softer suspension / bumpy road mode) with a lifter. I will always retain the original spoiler which can be re-installed. I also decided I liked the door card inserts in seat material rather than carbon fiber to break up the sea of black. For those that want/need/prefer the AF package and need a lifter added, Novitec seems to have just what’s called for as you said. I fully investigated both paths with the Novitec lifter spring kit at $11K (US) plus install (seems to replace those titanium springs in the AF kit with hydrolically activated Novitec lowering springs). ‘Six of one or half a dozen of another’

I hope you’re enjoying the SF90 AF. Did it replace your Pista as a track weapon? My friends with the Pistas think I’m crazy going for the heavier SF90, but my visits to the track have gotten less and less as my hair has gotten grayer.

No absolutely build the car you want.. but bear in mind AF Spider doesn’t come with Carbon Fibre Door Cards, it’s only the AF Coupe, something to do with Homologation, another nice reason to order AF Coupe over Spider. With AF Coupe you can do door Panel Inserts in Carbon, Leather or Alcantara to break up the Carbon Fibre Door Cards if that’s what you mean. Standard is black Alcantara Door Panel Inserts

Airbag issue of for the spider. Instead, they come with CF inserts instead of the door cards. It's a bummer, but top down will make you forget I'm sure.

I spec’d it with standard wheels. Plan to replace with aftermarket. Current leading candidate is the Novitec NF10 in satin black, but still investigating options.
