I was beginning to think that, what with it looking very nice and listed at a too good to be true price.

Hmm. Really? In that case, I really over-paid for my car. I know that my car is at the high end of "nice" and therefore I'm content having paid what may have been a new high record in a private sale. Mine is a manual, which adds about $5k to the value though as well.

I'm with you, mine is one of the top cars in the US.

    Mine also.

Not so fast big fella, I might have you beat on that one. I'll bet we're both north of $30k though.

    LOL
    They should be double that.

After checking my database, I have a pretty good idea what you gave. Not too worry, the last 3 really nice 5-speeds sold here in the US were WELL into the 30's.
There are 2 average, not really nice, condition 5-speed cars for sale right now @ 29k.

Gary, you still have that car?

I hope I can verbalize this correctly. I'm not saying anything about you or your integrity since I've never had the pleasure of a conversation with you. I'm just making an observation.

You've been trying to sell this car for a VERY long time. Dropped the price a couple of times, etc.
I thought about buying your car when I was looking for a 5-speed. I searched your posts and found a couple of threads you'd written about the trouble you've had with it but they were a bit vague (uncomfortably so). I always felt that I never knew the real and straight story about your car.
I know of 3 guys right now who are looking for a 5-speed and have the cash in hand. I'll bet you'd sell your car in less than a week if you'd just come 100% clean with a description of its history, problems, good & bad points, etc.

My .02 cents and since you didn't ask for it take it for exactly what you paid for it. :)

I own this Car since 2.5 and it seems like everbody just wants picture or endless emails.
Or I get ridicules low offers. I will not undersell the Car. The Car is driven almost every other week.
The Car came orig. from New Jersey and was sold several times before i bought it from Motorcar Gallery in Florida.
To make the Car CA street legal was THE major Problem (i did threads about that).
I installed Catalic Converters replaced Radiator Oilcooler and much more (all documented).
I have the title in my hands with my name on it.
A new headliner will go into the car soon (old one came off and had glue marks)

PS: wait again for the endless questionaire for the car.............
