I'm thinking about getting the Nintendo DS handheld for my aging parents, and several of the "mental exercise" games that are available. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts?

    Thanks.

I got a DS for my girlfriend and she requested Brain Age. I played it a bit and it is interesting. At first it's pretty fun, however it does tend to get a bit tedious after a while because of the lack of variety of things you can do with it. And, you can only do all of the games once a day per profile, so once they do it they have to wait until the next calendar day to do it again, which is a bit annoying. However, there is always the quick play feature... and it has a good size set of Sudoku puzzles that are great time killers. If you don't finish it... oh well, just save it and start it back up later.
