Bit of a wallet collection with mostly newer models but a few quality oldies. The black Countach with the white interior looks very sharp and only 500 miles from new...

Only thing remotely new was the One-77, everything else is old cars.

£20m is almost market value for these cars no?

That's $30m. Some of the cars do have low mileage..

Who is to say what was actually paid, that figure has probably been leaked out on purpose, some free and clever marketing. Lovely examples, never understand why someone would go to the trouble of putting together a superb collection to then get rid of the lot in one swoop, I guess other cars may have been retained.

and before I also get banned I have no affiliation (if only!) to John Colins or Talacrest!

Talacrest recently purchased this package from Fawaz Al-Hasawi, the Kuwaiti owner of the British football club Nottingham Forest.

True, but that's still from what, 2007? Older than the One-77 which is from 2011.

    This covers it.

Nicely played by John Collins/Talacrest, but this collection looks to me to be one of many assembled for speculative purposes rather than enthusiasm, as we are seeing more often.

Not that any of this matters at this point.

His personal wealth has been estimated at c £1.4 Billion . so if he sold the motors for £20 mio that was only c 1.43% of his total wealth..

This is the equivalent of someone worth £1 mio selling his car 'collection' for £ 14300 .

    No big deal eh?

Talk about big boys toys! he will have some cash to do up his holiday cottage...http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2679011/Score-Nottingham-Forest-chairman-snaps-12-bedroom-listed-mansion-4m-just-holiday-home-hell-spend-year-home-Kuwait.html
