I don't know how long you've been a Jets fan, but I LOVED them as a kid when they played at Shea. Before they abandoned us for NJ. They stunk then, they stink now, and have more or less stunk for much of the intervening 50 years. I hope I'm wrong, but they just seem to be cursed.

When I started at UF, I drove from J-ville to G-ville. Hard to believe any of those sorry little speed trap/prison towns along that route would inspire anyone to want to return! Maybe he took the more scenic route through Spuds!

One year, he's gone. Trevor Lawrence should stay in college...T

Went to a few games @ Shea. I recall one where they played Dallas.
It was cold, rainy & the wind was whipping in off of Jamaica Bay.
Halftime show was a guy throwing a frisbee to a dog. Poor pooch.
Every toss got caught up in the wind!

They need to move back to NYC and get their own stadium. Or even play
    @ Citi Field...T

Dysfunctional franchise won't be saved with Saleh and keeping Darnold. Saleh is a good DC but the NYJ suffer from the owner down to the players. Would need multiple high draft picks and/or marque free agents to make them a playoff contender. Best player in years Jamal Adams couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.

Agreed Meyer is the sexy choice but not the best choice. Everyone forget about the 31 Gators that got in legal trouble, the assistant coach domestic violence at OSU, the 2 times he bailed out due to "health problems" actually can't take losing the SEC championship?

Maybe Kahn just wants to sell more tickets and not worry about moving the Jaguars to London.

Agree with everything you said about Jets. They're the East Coast Chargers.

Coaches don't sell tickets do they? Kahn is a disaster as owner. Never should have put a franchise in North Florida.

Urban Meyer gets a lot more press than Arthur Smith or Raheem Morris. Not to be insulting just saying.

Please let's not get started on the Mets. There are decades I regret having been born into a Met-rooting family. This is one of them. LOL...T

Saleh absolutely the best pick of available head coaches. He has the respect of every one of his players and fellow coaches. I remember reading about him when he was a "nobody" that San Francisco hired, and the writer was giving him high praise. Not sure how the writer knew this (I don't believe in crystal balls) but he was very accurate in his assessment of Saleh.

He is the complete opposite of Adam Gase; he makes no excuses (everyone knows how decimated the 49ers were all year), loses 4 key started yet still fields a top 5 D, yet other teams with no injuries don't come close. I don't know if he will work out as a head coach, but I am betting he will. My point is that nobody knows if anyone will work out as a head coach but Saleh is worth the gamble.

All the way? I don't think there's anybody who bet their own money against a Packers/Chiefs Super Bowl.

Agree, Packers the way Rodgers is playing in addition to home field. And the Chiefs are a well oiled machine.

All credit to Rodgers, but he has a fantastic O-line with depth. His receiver group is also top notch. Excellence seems to breed excellence.

Yes definitely the entire team is playing well, Devante Adams specifically, but in the NFL it's all about the QB.

Does anyone here belive in CLE for the upset? Will it be a blowout?

I felt the BAL AT BUF game would hinge on turnovers. That pick six killed BAL.
Did not see Alexander injury. That finished them.

    TB AT NO
NO has beaten twice this year. At home and away.
Brady can throw the long ball. Brees struggles there.
NO has a better defense and better coach. And Kamera.
Had to pick NO. Should be a very good game.

Right. And Goff was nowhere near 50%. I joke . . . . He actually threw a few nice passes. But he wasn't top form either.
