Remember, they're not the Redskins any more! (Maybe they should call themselves the Washington Natives?)
I knew Matt Patricia would be gone before the weekend was out. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30407459/detroit-lions-fire-coach-matt-patricia-gm-bob-quinn
Wow...Broncos-Saints game will be completely out of control tomorrow. All Broncos QBs out due COVID or exposure to it. So the Broncos are starting a practice squad undrafted rookie WR to be their QB. That guy was QB at Wake Forest for 3 seasons before switching to WR his senior year. 53% passes completed with 8 TDs and 7 INT...Saints defense will have a field day with the Broncos last minute offense switch without practice. They delay other games but for some reason not this one...guess the league doesn't care about the Broncos this year to delay the Saints from playing and getting a shorter turnaround time next week.
Not a surprise. Ford family should still the Lions. They've been irrelevant longer than the Cowboys...T
You guys who follow the NFL, can you enlighten me? Why does Steeler-Ravens get postponed TWICE, including rare Tuesday game because of COVID but Denver has to play with a QB who was selling cell phones last week? It couldn't have anything to do with TV and money, could it?
And while I'm at it, when was last time a Monday night participant had to travel for the following Sunday afternoon game?
Denver wanted to start a coach! https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/broncos/2020/11/29/denver-broncos-quarterback-assistant-coach-rob-calabrese/6455851002/ T
It's always about money. For this particular week, the only reason I can understand is the Ravens-Steelers COVID issue was discovered well before 12 week finished. Wednesday I think they decided to delay it? That gave them enough time to contact trace and isolate and monitor people for a possible Sunday game and now a rare Tuesday game like you said (6 days from the decision). For the Broncos, the issue came up the day before, Saturday. If they had to reschedule 6 days later it runs into prep and travel time for the next week game (Friday + Sunday games). Broncos, Saints, Ravens, and Steelers already had their bye weeks with last games in January already so there were no open slots. Ravens-Steelers got lucky the outbreak happened early enough to give them time. They had 4 day turnarounds from their Sunday, Nov 22nd games to Thanksgiving. Now they get 6 days from the Tuesday game to upcoming Sunday.
It would be difficult for the Raiders to have played a worse game today. 5 turnovers (actually 6 but the replay officials were being generous), stupid penalties, dumb play calling, the defense once again can't do anything.
"Pride & Poise" were both seriously lacking today, and Al Davis must be rotating in his grave. If they play like that next weekend, the Jets will no longer be winless!
Can we get back Parcells lmao Carr got -2.55 fantasy points how is that even possible? Good thing I rode Cousins and Herbert. AJ brown, Montgomery and DK balled out
Uh...so Ravens-Steelers delayed again and now Wednesday afternoon lol. Now I believe the NFL forced the Broncos to play as a lesson to teams that don't follow COVID protocols and social distancing...
Absolutely made an example of the Broncos just like stripping a draft pick from the Raiders. Ravens-Steelers too big a game the NFL had to run it even if on Wednesday.
