LA Chargers new Uni's look SWEEEEEET! Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Now if (1) they actually had games to play and (2) had any fans to come and see them.
I didn't think he would come out of retirement, but I guess circumstances really changed for him over the past couple months.
Gronk couldn't find anybody to pay him to do anything outside of football because he couldn't do anything outside of football.
They could not make their pick because their bank vault is welded shut.... He doesn't need to 'work' anymore, we all know that, but it's HARD to give up something you have been doing since you were 5-10-15 yrs old, a lot of guys cannot do it, they are called 'coaches' now.
Tom Bradys on this call. Pretty interesting. Never thought he'd do a live chat. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I ended up turning it off after Tua's draft. No screw up from what I heard but it was such a long build up all about cororna, etc. I thought it was the perfect chance to just get on with the show.
Aaron Rodgers has been garoppoloed. verb: to garoppolo, the act of drafting your replacement QB well before your current QB intends on retiring.
That was an interesting pic. For the record, AR is 36, going on 37 next NFL season. Interestingly, these are all the players the Pats got in their wheeling dealing of the pics for Garropolo. "In total, New England made 10 moves that involved at least one asset originating from the Garoppolo trade, netting six players: CB Duke Dawson LB Christian Sam CB Joejuan Williams RB Damien Harris T Yodny Cajuste QB Jarrett Stidham Oh, and the book still isn't closed on this trade, as the Patriots have the Bears' fourth-rounder in next year's draft..." @Nospinzone - any of the above worth a darn, excepting Stidham, for whom the jury is still out? T
Those four guys are on the team. Being rookies they were mostly practice squad guys. Williams and Harris have promise, I don't know anything about Cajuste. Stidham looks to be our starting QB as things stand right now.
Best player available at #17 and IMO best WR in the draft. We needed help on D but Lamb can score from outside and the slot and is a Ochocinco type WR. Pair him with Amari and Gallup and he will shine. Zeke is going to benefit from the 3 of them stretching the field. Makes the carrot dangling in front of Dak that much tastier. Jerry didnt want to face Lamb twice a year in an Eagles uniform.
True. I bet he'll be having the time of his life on his own pirate ship for Gasparilla Pirate Festival.
I don't think CeeDee is anything at all like a Chad Johnson WR (he changed his name back recently), he is more of a true slot like Randall Cobb/Cole Beasley/Edelman, a quick guy being thrown to over the middle 10 yards downfield. I am rather stunned Dallas didn't go for a TE with their next pick - they don't have one AT ALL!
^You must not watch college football. First Lamb scored 7 touchdowns from outside and 7 touchdowns from the slot last season. Hes equally dangerous from either position. "Lamb is a Consensus All-American standing who stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs in at 198 pounds, making him an ideal talent outside the hashes, but also in the slot. The expectation is he'll be flexed between the X, Z as well as the slot, much in the same way Amari Cooper currently does. Michael Gallup doesn't usually get in on the slot action, but don't rule that out in 2020, as head coach Mike McCarthy works to make an already potent Cowboys offense virtually indefensible. By adding Lamb, they inject a First-Team All-Big 12 talent who delivered 1,000-yard seasons in his last two campaigns for the Oklahoma Sooners. "I'm ready to play wherever," Lamb said when asked if he has a preference heading into Dallas."" https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/cowboys-ceedee-lamb-surprised-by-draft-chooses-jersey-number-and-is-ready-to-play-wherever-on-offense/ Second Lamb was rated the #1 WR on most boards because of his ability to be a "3 level player" just like Ochocinco. "With his slim frame and habit of making big plays, NFL analyst Lance Zierlein compared Lamb to former star receiver Chad Johnson. Johnson, also known as "Ochocinco," made his name as a wideout capable of wreaking havoc on defenses in open spaces anywhere on the field. Lamb has similarly been dubbed a "three-level player," capable of producing from different receiver spots and excelling in numerous types of routes."
I'm an OU and Dallas fan. I was sure CEE DEE would be snatched up before we got any chance and pleasantly surprised when Dallas picked him up. Can't wait to see this guy play in Dallas - if we have a season at some point. My office overlooks the practice field so I will at least get to see him running around snatching the ball a little.
