That is one of many rumors floating around here. I wouldn't put it past Jerry if he can't reach an agreement with Dak. The Boys are poised to really make a run now and Jerry is running out of time. Brady would do well with that offensive line, a star RB and and some WR weapons. But then maybe Brady will go to Jacksonville because Giselle would like to spend more time in Europe.
Sorry Dak, you're not worth all that money, but we'll gladly pay it to a 43 year old. lol I want this to happen so much. The media will go nuts.
No. Brady isn't mobile enough to be able to buy 1-2 more seconds to allow his receivers to get open. It would be fun for us fans, but a disaster for Dallas. In that conference, TB12 would be crushed.
I think it'd be a mistake (to sign Brady), but I'm with you, Jason, the theater would be so awesome it might be worth it. If it were to happen, I would give the NFL about 10 seconds to replace whomever is slated to do Hard Knocks with the Boys! T
Sure, but about half his games would be against NFC East teams, which are currently in a down cycle...T
I know, I'm just funning with ya! Dallas D is nowhere near as dominant as Denver Broncos were a few years back, when all Peyton had to do was be a game manager with the odd heroics required here and there. TB12 would need to do more than be a game manager in Big D, and at this stage in his career, without some great WRs, I think we'd have a redux of last year's Patriots team. Cooper could be a WR1 IF he's resigned. Gallup - who knows? Cobb? Ditto. It's great off season talk, but like you say, realistically not a good fit IMO...T
Dak is worth at minimum what Wentz is. Dak is reliable (never gets hurt and starts every game), Wentz is far to injury prone for the money he is getting...AND the Eagles won the Superbowl without him.
Let me expand on my previous post. For those that don't think Dak is worth $35 million; no QB is, but he is the next QB up and the market paid his predecessor that amount therefore he is due at least that.
Brady doesn't need 1-2 more seconds, he has one of, if not the, fastest release in the league. However, Dallas has a good offensive line that will give him all the time he needs. In a conference that collectively went 24-40 last year, with only one team 1 game above .500, really? You make Brady the QB of any of those 4 teams and they would have won the conference.
Yea, it's fantasy Tom. I think it is highly unlikely that Jerry won't sign Dak to a contract. In the long run it is in their best interest.
'The fastest release' has NOTHING to do with buying time for receivers to get open. Yes - he is the GOAT - no question - but he also doesn't move laterally like he used to. I said nothing about him making any of those teams into winners, I said they are more physical in the trenches than AFC East teams.
Cecil Short and Wade Smith are filling in this morning and Cecil just said playing in BoB's system was frustrating to play in, apart from the qb situations. They're saying when your guys cant line up consistently there's a huge issue.
Do you guys remember the dating show he had, something like "Chasing Kelce"? I didn't watch it myself but just wondering if anyone else has.
No, but now you've given me youtube material for the weekend. I hate you so much!!! I don't think I remember ever hearing of it. Actually, I know I won't be able to last only a couple minutes maybe. Cecil and Wade were clowning him about how he talks differently depending on who he interacts with. Edit: Okay, I just scanned through one. I didn't last 10 seconds.
It was actually called Catching Kelce, I just googled it. So you only lasted 10 seconds - that's longer than I lasted LOLOL
Those girls were just as annoying as he is. And the selection was pretty terrible for a upper-tier athlete.
