No need to wait any longer....here you go... Cowboys QB Tony Romo Nowhere Close to Being One of NFL's Most Clutch
This one killed me Choke, the official soft drink of Tony Romo https://www.google.ca/search?q=choke+official+soft+drink+of+tony+romo&espv=2&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=8jHRU6bGCq7lsAStwoKwAw&ved=0CCQQsAQ&biw=1440&bih=815
So this is your great source???? I will quote from his OWN byline: Kevin Saito is a fiction writer, sports junkie, history nerd, and NFL contributor to RantSports.com He’s just a “clown with an opinion,” and you can follow him on Twitter, Facebook, or on Google "Clown with an opinion!?" - Sounds like you - OR ARE YOU KEVIN SAITO???
Awww, did I hurt your feelings to the point you need to resort to name calling? OK, here is my real opinion: "I think the Cowboys are doing a good job st their QB position, and I hope they keep Romo the as their starter for a long time (translation: because then that's one less NFC team my 49ers have to worry about when it counts most )"
I was just quoting the mans own byline....no hurt feelings, just a little wonder on my part why you would give a man who calls himself a "clown with an opinion" such credence when it comes to Romo. Thats ok, I love being the underdog. See you guys opening day - in Dallas. You guys should win by at least 40 points. Especially with Romo, huh..
I wish I could be there...you will have to snap pics while you are at the game and post them here Easy big fella, nobody said it would be a cakewalk....it should be a good game, either team can win this game. Since you follow my posts, you should know that I have posted many times that Romo is very good in the first part of the season (about half) HOWEVER when the money is on the line, you cannot count on him. Seeing this is Week 1, and therefore early in the season, with nothing on the line, don't be surprised if Romo actually delivers a victory
You might want to see the last pass Tony made at the END of the season before he had to have BACK SURGERY.. I dare you! http://www.dallascowboys.com/multimedia/videos/Tony_Romo_Scrambles_Murray_Scores_GameWinning_TD/e9b7468c-c061-4c79-9ab1-b1feed65e08e I will post some. I think your sand bagging me on the victory just to hedge your bets. Frankly ( and I REALLY hate to say it), with our "defense" this year I am afraid we are looking at 3-13. Ugh
Honestly, I'm not hedging my bets. The last time the 49ers played Dallas (3 years ago when alex smith was still the starter) Dallas won in OT, it was in SF, and Romo played a great game. I think Romo throws a very nice ball, and is accurate, but he has to deliver in the clutch (late season and playoffs) to shake the "choker" or "can't win the big one" label. I have always maintained that he puts up fantasy numbers, but winning playoff games trumps all of that. I was actually rooting for Dallas when Terrell Owens was there (and the niners were not very good back then)...you gotta admit, it was fun watching Romo and Owens playing together.
Yeah, but Owens had a way of alienating everyone around him, although they were a pretty deadly combo. Dez and Tony have the same magic, but without a defense (which is the moron owners fault - trying to draft) I don't see much out of Dallas for a few years. By then, Tony will be too old and not able to prove that he could be a champion. Sucks.
I think Romo does a good job of escaping and extending the play, but I think his days of extending plays are numbered (back). I'm happy the Cowboys released Kyle Orton and are relying on Brandon Wesson as a back up, because he give Dallas NO CHANCE at winning. I think the Cowboys will be at the bottom of the NFC East this year.
So did the Cowboys in the early 90's. When Aikman went down, Garrett did a good job keeping them winning (remember Dallas beat Green Bay with Garrett when Favre was in his prime) Same with the Bills in the 91 playoffs when Kelly went down (overcame that 32 point deficit vs Houston) And of course Josh McCown last year for Jay Cutler. He played terrific and kept the Bears in the playoff hunt. In fact, he played so well that there was a debate as to whether they should bench Cutler and keep McCown as the starter. Obviously it doesn't happen often and these are exceptions as opposed to the norm, so I do agree with dmark1
Lol...I think we need to re-start the "my 49ers are better than your Cowboys..." and the "Kaeper is better than Romo...."
