It was time to change the wiper blades... it thought it would be something special but turned out to be the easiest thing on a Ferrari... finally something inexpensive !

Notes when changing your wiper blades:
    - turn the wipers on until they are in the 90 degree position (see pic 1)
    - place a towel on winshield to avoid breaking it in case the arm slams without the blade on

I chose the Rainx Latitude without a frame (see pic 2) 24" driver's side and 20" assenger's side... looks slick with great results (pic 3)

    cheers

Thanks Marc for this usefull description. I was looking to replace my current wipers with something much better. Rainx seems to be a very good solution especially at high speed. Your 360 looks even better with such wiper blades ;)

I have a couple of questions:

Do you think that the F430 needs the same size as your F360 (24'' and 20'')?
Is the arm type the small J-Hook?
Is there a difference between Lattitude (which you chose) and Weatherbeater?

    Many thanks,
    Cheers,
    Stef

Sorry... i do not not have the answer to any of these questions :(
Since i rarely use the wipers i did not do a lot of shopping... i just needed new ones and i chose the best from Autozone on my way home :)

Yes and yes. I had replace mine with Valeo Silencio. It's look similar to RainX.

The guy at Autozone was very nice and he helped installing the first blade... (actually u can see him on the left ... he was also checking my engine aesthetics :) )
i just asked him to do so because i was not sure the new blades will fit and i wanted him to feel reponsible in case they do not so i can return them with little hassle... The blades come with many adapters, u change the adapter on there and they will snap in place nicely.
It is raining heavily today so i thought of taking the car out just to test the wipers... then again... naaaah... if i decide to do so this afternoon it will be just out of the garage, and i will send some pics!
    cheers

The blades are 24" and 21", not 20". Off to Ferrari Silicon Valley [again]...

some windshields do not work well with that design...I tried the same on my Hummer H2 & had to remove them, the streak thing was annoying... stick with original design if streaking occurs... its not going to resolve itself most likely..

Just changing my wiper blade inserts on my 2004 360 Spider. Now there is a ton of information on sizes in terms of length ie. 21” and 24” and alternative brands but I found the 24” blade has a wider rib (back) than the 21” blade however cannot find any mention of that aspect of size differences anywhere. Is that normal?
