Great turnout this year, here's a list of the cars that were there: 1. Lamborghini Gallardo, yellow 2 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, dark blue 3. Lamborghini Espada, white 4. Ferrari 360 Spider, blue 5. Ferrari 328 GTB, red 6. Aston Martin Vantage, red 7. Aston Martin DB6 (1967), silver 8. Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, silver/light blue 9. Lotus Elise, orange 10. DeLorean DMC12, black strips on each side In the parking lot.... 1. Porsche 911 GT2, black 2. Bentley Continental GT, dark blue
I was able to bring the guys with the blue Gallardo and blue 360 - great guys. Espada owner an avid Lambo collector, another great guy. Silver Cloud owner yet another great guy, and from CB like me! Very happy to hear mention of my buddies' cars! But you didn't mention the ONLY Cayman S there - the silver one that I brought. HA! Also a spectacular XK120 roadster, English White with rear skirts, and a '58 (?) 356 coupe. Stunners. Will post pics in the thread I created on this show. . . Also, on my way home, saw a red 308GTSi with Pott Co IA plates "SMR TOY".
Sorry guys, but I'm digging up old posts, and I'm at a point where I need to quote some things and post answers / questions before I forget about them. So. . . is this the person who represents the majority of the Ferraris in the mega list I've seen? If so, I know another F car collector and I can add many to the list. Let me know.
I believe this was Mike Cutler's old car. I last drove his when it had about 57k on it. Now at the internet car lot. IF it's the same car - he claimed to have sent it to Arizona (to Bob Wallace I believe) to have a clutch put in @ somewhere over 50k miles, for about $12k. Wonder if that's part of the "24k in recent service" #. That was years ago. http://omaha.craigslist.org/ctd/1933090891.html
Taurean, A friend of mine sent me those pics. He also claims to know about a Veyron around the metro. Have you heard any such info?? B. Baker used to own and race many different Ferrari's in 60's, 70's & 80's. I honestly have no idea if he still has any of the cars or even still resides in the Omaha area.
Not sure about the Veyron - heard about it, but never verified. I know the owner of the LM, Spyker, and Elise. Also saw that same GTR @ Applebee's. Then, if this Mr. Baker DOES rep most F cars on the list, I will add all those of the person I have known for years. Enzo, red 288GTO, red F40, red 512 BBi, red Mondial convertible, red 328GTS (2), one red, one black Testarossa (2), one red, one black Silver Spur, blue Corniche convertible, black Bentley 8, 2 tone brown Rolls Phantom II (2 of them, can't remember years) Misc Mercedes, including perfect replica of 1886 Benz Pre WWI (yes, World War ONE) Buick and Cadillac - years are 1908 and 1913, but cannot remember which is which One of only 6 "James" ever produced, and only known survivor
Not head of this one. Where in the hell is the office for the yellow Murci roadster? 90th & Center mentioned. . . but cannot figure out what building that is in the pics.
It is/was owned by a realestate investor. Not sure if he still has it or not. Haven't seen it since last year.
Just rememberd a light blue Ferrari 275 GTB that I saw merging onto EB Dodge @ 132nd a couple of summers ago. I believe it was painted for competition (numbers, etc). Assumed the owner must be local as I don't presume anyone would road trip it to Omaha and tool around.
I've gotta be honest, we're kind of scraping the barrel here, aren't we? Snapped a few pics of the garage w/green Elise, black Spyker, and red Lambo LM002 on Sat, and we took the LM out - nobody spotted us! HA! Will post tonight or tomorrow.
W.T.'s F430 in the parking lot and Lambo Espada on the lawn. Will post more pics in the next few days. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
