I wanted to use some vehicle equity to increase my investments so I traded my paid off F12 for this Vanquish. Not as fast or advanced as the F12 but probably the most beautiful car I’ve ever owned (after my original CS). I also have more BTC now. :)

Anyone know if there’s a rear seat delete kit available? I did disconnect the exhaust valves, am having the chrome window surrounds wrapped gloss black, and getting her ceramic coated.
No pics yet but this is Kate……..

That's pretty cool! There are other GenII Vanquish owners on here.
I picked up a 2014 Vanquish about 2 years ago. Kopi Bronze exterior with a Tuscan Tan interior. It's a very early serial number and according to the Heritage info, mine is the 45th Vanquish produced(there were about 1500 non-S LHD coupes built).
Not sure if a rear seat kit is available, but a good upholsterer could probably construct something. The battery is located under the right rear seat, so access is still needed in that area.
Look into updating the infotainment with the latest firmware. Easy way to tell if you don't have the latest is if you don't have the horsepower/torque gauge page. This update fixes some bugs and gives a few new features. You'll need a dealer or a good independent with an AMDS. The update is over USB and uses the front port as well as another USB port under the left rear seat.
My car has been great so far after I put on over 8k miles. I just did plugs/coils and an oil/filter change myself. These are DIY cars, so you or a good local shop can work on them. I've only needed a dealer to program a new key and get a metal key. Local shop with an AMDS did the firmware update.
The only bug I've seen is around the entertainment. If I leave the for a little under 10 minutes, the amplifier occasionally does not turn on(speakers don't rise and no sound). Usually I pull the fuse for the "screen" and it gets corrected. The firmware update helped slightly.
For the exhaust valves, I added the CCCharger device. Allows it to stay quiet in the mornings(although we don't have close neighbors) but stay open most of the time. I also did a secondary cat delete/x-pipe which gives a nicer sound but not much difference in sound level.
You should look into getting the Heritage Trust info on your car. They'll give you all sorts of stats on your car while trying to get it to "one of one" (mine's one of two based on options/build).
Enjoy the drive - these cars don't like to sit!

It's interesting that your Vanquish looks to have a newer "S" style grille. Makes the front end stand out a bit more and is a great look!

Great reply with a lot of helpful information, thank you! Yes, the car does have the carbon “S” grill. Really adds to the car I think. I don’t intend to use the infotainment much (unless the B&O system stops working) so I don’t mind what it has. I hate the parent company of my local AM dealer so I’ll look for a local Indy that might have the AMDS software. Are there any forums for AM’s that are worth a look?

I think when I did this last year, it was about 6 weeks from when I submitted info until he came back with the file. He'll let you know roughly how long it will take. Depends on backlog.

I only use the infotainment for music, playing MP3's from an old iPhone3 connected in the armrest. Cell coverage is bad where I live, so it's not worth streaming or even having the normal cell phone connected. I do use my phone for GPS, running the OsmAnd app for custom routes. If I just want to see a basic map, I'll still use the built-in GPS even though it's really old.

The B&O really is a great system. Just for kicks, I brought the car into the lab and we got one of our MOST DSP boards working with the car. That would allow someone to ditch the stock amp(located above the right rear wheel arch!) and use an aftermarket amp, but we would need to modify a board slightly to operate the front rising speakers. Not a big enough market, though, but could be a solution if the amp gets really goofy.

    Awesome!

Here’s mine. Absolutely love it. My daily. Perfect GT. I did a secondary cat delete, which in essence turns it into an S sound and a hp bump as well. I had a similar colored F12, which I traded on my 812.

Gorgeous Frank! Did the secondary cat delete trip any CEL’s? Does TX smog test? I’d have to be concerned about passed NV’s obdII smog test.

I'm in Vegas and had a Vanquish with secondary cat delete, no issues passing smog. Doesn't trigger CEL.

The last iteration of NA V12s has 6 cats-3 on each side. There are 2 on each header bank and then one in the exhaust pipes between the headers and the rear boxes. The secondary cats are the latter and have no sensors on them. I used Velocity AP pipes (based in Canada) I would call them for more info. They’ve got a bunch of goodies for Astons.

No emissions testing where I live.

Sweet! Did you have the removal done locally? Sounds like a great mod to do on the cheap.

The previous owner had it done, sound was pretty nice. The Vanquish is a great car, really liked driving it. Traded for a 911 GTS because I saw the market starting to drop, probably would have lost $25k in a year on it had I kept it. They're even better value now though, a 2014 Vanquish under $100k is a bargain, though I'd probably go for the 2015+ if buying again to get the better transmission. The 6-speed is fine but I'm sure the 8-speed is much better.

I paid $135k but the car had 3800 miles on it. It’s in brand new condition. Has the S front grill in carbon too.

Man…..the Vanquish is not even in the same league as an F12 performance wise but they are so beautiful.

I bought my Vanquish new in 2015. I told everyone..."it's not the fastest car I could buy for the money, it's not the best handling car I could buy for the money, but it's the most beautiful car I've ever seen.". I still stand by that statement. I have about 17,000 miles on her now and no plans to get rid of the car.

Had a 2016 white with full carbon fiber pkg. Sold and regret it everyday. Really the most beautiful car out there.
