West LA Drive/Lunch location

    Ok so there is a parking structure at 333 N Crescent drive. I can get us all up at the rooftop side by side at 1pm. Or the open lot right next to the City structure will accomodate us at $10/car. I will be there early at the structure...

    OK. Looking like we are getting a good turn out for the Friday Lunch in BH. The List so far...

    Brian L, Spyderbite and anyone else thinking of joining us or bringing a guest in your car, please add your name to the list by Thursday at 4:00 pm so we can let the restaurant know for the reservation. Not saying there won't be room for more, but we want to have a table set up. Right now the reservation is for 10.

    The surface parking lot is at 343 N Crescent Drive. They have told us they will hold 10 spots for us and the cost is $10 each. There may be more available but 10 is all that they are holding as of now. Latecomers may be able to park if there is space available or may have to go to the structure next door.

    Brian L: Its up to you how late you want to show up. The reservation is for 1:00 and we are usually there 60 - 90 minutes for lunch.

    If anyone coming from the West and wants to meet up and drive in, I'll be at the parking lot of the Federal Building (Wilshire Blvd between Federal and Veteran) at 12:30 on Friday. Its really the only large free parking lot in the area. Let's plan on meeting up along the Veteran side of the parking lot. I'll either be in a red 355 spider or a red 328 GTS. Planning to leave the Federal Building lot by 12:35.

    Thanks for setting this up! I have a meeting in Beverly Hills right before so I will see you all at the restaurant. I'll be in the "Sonic the Hedgehog Blue" car. Looking forward to discussing some photoshoot ideas.

    Anyone else planning to join us? Last chance to up the table reservation.

    Next month we will probably go back to the drive to Malibu for lunch so here's the chance to join us without the coast drive.

    I will definitely be there for today's lunch but due to timing and location issues, I wont be able to bring my car so if someone needs my parking spot, please feel free to use it

    Another good West LA lunch group. Wouldn't you know that we pick one of the hottest days of the year to drive inland rather than the normal drive up the coast.

    Next one planned for September 25th. Details to come.

    Bumping the thread for the September 25th lunch event. Working on the location. Hoping for Tavern 1 to open on PCH but don't know if they will make it in time. Any other Malibu area suggestions? Needs to have good food and available parking.

    I just spoke with Tavern 1 and they are still being held up by their liquor license and will not be open by the 25th.

    Any suggestions for a location for lunch in the Palisades - Malibu area?

    Nobu has the best parking for a restaurant in Malibu! BUT.....it ain't cheap!

    Nobu is nice but out of the usual lunch price range. Looking to keep it in the $20+/- range.

    Any other suggestions?

    One time at Nobu won't kill anyone in a Ferrari, let's do it.

    Or on the canyon road, Aubelitas, Inn of the Seventh Ray, etc. Great drive up there :)

    Inn of the Seventh Ray is a great drive up Topanga. It's been a while since I have been there. How is the parking lot at lunch for a Ferrari group? I remember the lot being small and gravel.

    I've been absolutely swamped this week with work and family in town and have not had the time to set anything up for lunch this month.

    Does anyone else want to take the lead and set a location?
    Do we just want to set for Dukes again and the normal San Vicente meet up?
    Do we want to cancel for the month?
