FWIW to members who may be looking to replace their battery. The Interstate M7-34R battery in my vehicle failed last week after just 2.5 years. The battery was routinely on a CTEK 4.3 tender when the vehicle was not in use. I decided that I had enough of Interstate and purchased an Odyssey 34R-PC1500T which like the Interstate is an AGM battery. It was a direct replacement for the M7-34R in terms of fit. I was able to get the Odyssey from JEGS for $275 with free shipping. The price reflected a $25 discount. Shipping time was 4 business days and the battery came directly from the USA factory.
The Odyssey 34R is a great battery. I bought one when they were privately labeling them to Sears under their "Diehard Platinum AGM" branding several years ago ($190). IIRC it was rated at 800CCA and I had it for three years before I sold the car in 2014. Rarely used or felt I needed a battery tender, it always cranked strong. Wouldn't surprise me if it is still in service in the car today. Sears swapped manufacturers, not sure who they use now.
I ordered mine straight from Odyssey, I think they gave me a discount and I paid about $260 out the door. Second Odyssey battery, first one was a PC 925, which was awesome because it gave such a clean look being that small, but after a week off the tender when I went out of town for business, it dropped down to under 5 volts. I switched to the 34-1500T and it was definitely a tight fit that required some creative cable routing. Oh well.
