somebody else already has one built now: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204012&highlight=fusebox
Depending on what Clive's (Scott's) price point is, they are kind of separate products with one being a rebuild and the other being a new manufacture. Since EVERY Mondial WILL eventually need one or the other, I certainly think there is more than enough demand for both. I'm very happy they both have stepped up to the plate.
I am very interested in the Mondial fuse box and would like to be put on the list. To answer a few questions earlier in this thread according to Ferrari classic parts UK the fuse box is the same for 3.0 - 3.0Qv - 3.2 - 3.4t Mondials and the 208 series although the part number did change it should fit all Mondials. If who ever is supplying the UK could contact me with price and availabilty that would be great. [email protected]
Could we please have an update on this I need to replace mine, and i would love one of these new ones, however if it will take much longer i may have to go with the rebuild option. A couple of useful bits of info to us all would be 1. when can we expect to see these in production and 2. what is the estimate price. I appreciate the work that has been done by all so far but i need something soon. Many thanks Jon
Any fresh info on the Mondial fuse box project? Mine's a wreck, had it kind of half-assed rebuilt with the critical systems functioning for now (except the wipers), but replacement seems the way to go.
If you haven't seen the work that Dave Helms is doing to alleviate the issue, check out.... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=213035 Been there. Burnt that. J
OK - I admit - I was the first to try the GT Auto Parts rebuilt fusebox for my Mondial 3.2 Cab. The result is that the rebuilt fusebox is the ultimate in reliability. My Mondial is only for sale because I anticipate moving to the UK in the next year and have my eye on a RHD 3.2 Mondial of exceptional pedigree that I am considering selling mine. Roy
I have a GT refab in mine...works terrific. We also put one in another T Cab and his is working great as well. SO I guess that would make for two thumbs up.
Finally. I have been testing the fusebox in my daily driver for the last ten days and everthing works perfectly.
The prices for the fuse box are as follows: The new fusebox fully populated with relays and fuses except for the wiper control unit which is available separately. Everything is new including the base and clear cover. All you need to do is unplug all the existing plugs, remove the old fusebox, secure the nex fusebox in place using the same screws and plug in the existing plugs. Ex-works Singapore Fusebox S$1800 (about US$1200) lead time 6 weeks (some are in production now) Wiper control unit S$250 (about US$150) lead time 4 weeks (some are in production now) Delivery will be extra. Scott will be handling US distribution. Please let me know if you are interested.
My last post on the subject was 2 years ago , what is the situation now and the procedure to follow as I am still interested in a complete fuse box for a 328 GTS ? Price ? Where to order? Estimated time for manufacturing? I am located in Europe . Thank's alot in advance for your answer.
I've been looking back over this thread. Does the 3.2 Mondial have the same fusebox issues as the 308? Any 3.2 Mondi guys out there who did replace their fusebox, and based on what symptoms?
Sorry, I've not been back for a while. The fuse box is complete and in production. The box is essentailly "plug-and-play". They are fully populated with fuses and relays along with the wiper plug-in unit. The price is S$1500 ex-works in Singapore. The current exchange rate is 1.39 Singapore dollars to 1 US dollar, i.e., about US$1080 plus shipping.
Well done Clive!! I get so many e-mails asking if I do a fusebox for the Mondial (which of course I don't) and I haven't had anywhere to send them. Birdman
