How do they pump them out so fast? How many people do they have working in these model companies? Pete
In the age of CAD design and 3d printing, all you need is a dozen of people to do all of this and more. They have few people working in manufacturing and packing/distribution, but its a very small company.

Front fenders look too long, no? Also a bit flat from the front view. Maybe just the shadow or the angle the pictures were made - not the best lighting. Rear spoiler also look a bit off. Other than that, looks good. I'm assuming there will be different version, judging by the fuel cap placement and trunk lid.

Okay, can someone enlighten me why Bburago has 2 "b"s in their name? Somehow I don't believe that it's always been that way.
the Bburago name comes from burago di mologora where the head office was based, the capital B at the start the of the name is from the besana family who founded the company.
Looks like the Hiro Series I Ferrari GTO will be around $100.00 more than the series II. The wire wheels with separate spokes I think is the main reason why. 1/12scale Fulldetail Kit : Ferrari 250 GTO [1962] » MFH
Quite a surprise for me, besides Tamiya's 300SL, wich may have been the greatest novelty in this scale, also Hellr came up with the announcement for a 1/12 scal Citroen HY Furgon, a Renault 4L with full opening doors (not an Ebbro rebox) and also a Citroen Mehari...as if it wasn't enough, a Ferguson field tractor has also been announced, unnusual and refreshing in this scale. Meanwhile, Ebbro brought its Citroen ID19 (DS) wich looks really nice in shape and detail, also 1/24 scale. Looking very nice, both in shape as in detail... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Look nice but just goes to show they will still duplicate no matter how obscure the car!! Most of these have been done nicely in plastic or diecast already. Most in the plastic and diecast industry do not have any vision. They just copy what others are doing.
FPPM 1/24th Ferrari 375 Pan Am 1954 Phil Hill master. This car also ran in the 1953 Pan Am and did win the Nurburgring in 1953 without tail fin as many know. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I find it stunning that Fernando produces so many great new kits in such a short space of time. Hats off to him Jeremy
You make a fair point Tom but it is not always straightforward for the producers. In the 1980s I was a friend and customer of a start up firm, now one of the better known producers of (predominantly) 60s and 70s sports racers. The founder had been retrenched from his job in engineering and his first 1/43 was an enormous financial risk for him. I recall that even in those days the original brass 'buck' cost around $1200 (when kits retailed for about $20). His first model was very well received and he was prompted to extend his range. He did this slowly and carefully but then he discovered a problem. Several larger, more established competitors seemingly identified his theme and prompty announced many of his intended subjects on their 'Forthcoming' lists. This made him and some major retailers apprehensive, as with established reputations these firms could destroy the viability of new models and probably his company! In the event, these firms never did produce the particular models but they succeeded in inhibiting my friend's business growth for several years and probably denied collectors some first rate models. But, as they say, he who laughs last......... Duplication is a pain and frequently a waste of effort but spare a thought for those in the cottage industry who try to provide what we want.
