Hi again, They did the 166MM and should be doing the Mexico 375MM soon.The 59 250TR has already been done by them.Model Factory Hiro kits can be bought at Island Collectibles.Ed Cervo is on this sight and is a very good model dealer.Strada is another.They can reserve and order Hiro kits for you.Keep in mind these are "the best"model kits available and are expensive,with full engine and chassis detail.These kits are works or art. For those of you who like Maserati race cars here are two 1/24 kits by Profil-24 that have been out for awhile.They are the 151/3 1964 lemans and 450S 1957 Lemans Costin Zagato. Also Trumpeter of China known for their superb large WWII warbird models in 1/32nd and 1/48th scale have announced they will do a Ford GT MKII 1966 Lemans winner superkit in 1/12th scale!! Ok,I could not resist.Its not a Ferrari but it sure sounded great when it raced! The model kit is from Profil 24 in 1/24.The car is a Matra 650 Lemans 1969. Nothing like a French V12 F1 based race motor!They do make a great deal of noise. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I may be wrong, but isn't the pontoon fender TR a 1957 model? I think that the 1958 is pretty much the same thing but with regular fenders.

You are right, the Hasegawa box design shows the pontoon fender customers car. The first of them were delivered in late 1957, most of them were built in 1958. All customer cars had left hand drive and pontoon fenders. The first works TRs in 1957 also had pontoon fenders but soon changed back to standard layout. The car usually described as TR58 is a works-car (as far as I know right hand drive) without pontoon fenders. Till
