How do I get in line for the TDF and 330LM?

50's.The 250 TDF is a great start. Other iconic early cars that could have wide appeal:

166MM Touring Barchetta, '52 340 Mexico Berlinetta (competition), 340 America Touring Barchetta and Berlinetta, 375 MM Berlinetta, '59 250 TR (competition).

60's. These cars have big real-life owner/enthusiast fanbases:

    250 GTE/330 America, 330 2+2 (Series I and II), 365 2+2, Lusso, 400 Superamerica, 500 Superfast, 275 GTS, 330 GTS and GTC.

    70's. Popular cars:

    365 GTC/4, 365 GT4 2+2/400 2+2

    Hi again,

They did the 166MM and should be doing the Mexico 375MM soon. The 59 250TR has already
been done by them.Model Factory Hiro kits can be bought at Island Collectibles.Ed Cervo
is on this sight and is a very good model dealer.Strada is another. They can reserve and order
Hiro kits for you.Keep in mind these are "the best"model kits available and are expensive, with
full engine and chassis detail. These kits are works or art.

Ok,I could not resist. Its not a Ferrari but it sure sounded great when it raced!
The model kit is from Profil 24 in 1/24.The car is a Matra 650 Lemans 1969.
Nothing like a French V12 F1 based race motor! They do make a great deal of noise.

New Revell 1/24 Ferrari model kits: F2007 and 348.The F2007 will have several versions
included in the kit.It will also have Cartograf decals. From the test shots I have seen
it seems Revell did a nice job on this one.

I may be wrong, but isn't the pontoon fender TR a 1957 model? I think that the 1958 is pretty much the same thing but with regular fenders.

    You are right,

the Hasegawa box design shows the pontoon fender customers car. The first of them were delivered in late 1957, most of them were built in 1958. All customer cars had left hand drive and pontoon fenders.

The first works TRs in 1957 also had pontoon fenders but soon changed back to standard layout.
The car usually described as TR58 is a works-car (as far as I know right hand drive) without pontoon fenders.
