    Happy Sunday all

    I’m on the verge of purchasing my first Ferrari. A 488 GTB

    I have seen this car and I am very close to putting pen to paper. What’s everyone’s thoughts on the spec and what should I be looking out for?

    It’s a 2019 car with 3500k

    Have to admit, seeing and reading comments about mileage blocking is a concern ??

    Finished in Ferrari Historical Colour Grigio Scuro with Nero Interior, 20” Matt Black Forged Rims, Yellow Brake Callipers, Carbon Fibre: Front Spoiler – Side Air Splitter – Rear Air Ducts – Fog Lamp – Exterior Sill Kick, Scuderia Ferrari Shields, Suspension Lifter, AFS System, Internal/External Electrochromic Mirrors, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Parking Camera, High Emotion Low Emission, Sport Exhaust Pipes, Coloured Special Stitching – Giallo, Goldrake Racing Seats, Racing Seat Lifter, Horse Stitched on Headrest, Coloured Mats with Logo, Upper Part in Alcantara, Alcantara Seats Inner Trim, Premium Hifi System, Apple Carplay, Yellow Rev Counter, Carbon Fibre Racing Package, Functional Equipment.

    Grigio Scuro is a pretty rare color, and a great one at that. Sounds like an awesome spec, have you gotten a PPI done yet?

    Apparently unscrupulous people are able to use technology to alter mileage or stop it increasing. I don’t know how true this is but I have read it on many occasions.

    That’s why I am buying from a Main dealer

    It’s a Ferrari main dealer and I will be scrutinising the paperwork, later this week :) It’s a colour I’d not seen before, that is good for me

    Similar story here… I just bought my first Ferrari a month or so ago, which is a 2019 488GTB in Grigio Silverstone. Pretty similar specs as yours, but yours is a little more optioned out.

    My advice - buy it!! I have zero regrets, am amazed by how it performs (way beyond my abilities), and get a smile every time I look at it in the garage. I’m really happy with the 488 as a first (or any) Ferrari!

    Stop procrastinating and buy it and then drive and don't even think of the mileage you rack up. Just think of the enjoyment and enrichment to your life she is giving you. I will let you in on a little known secret, Ferraris get better and drive better the more you drive them.

    Since when did any car enrich ones life, they make you poor not rich o_O , just like a divorce ;) I’m not procrastinating, I’m waiting for the car to be prepped, the finance to be approved and driving it this Thursday. As soon as that’s done, I will buy it and drive it :)
