I just got some new Magnesium wheels from Litespeed Racing and even with the 10mm increase in width in the tires and the wheels being 1/2" wider, I saved 44 lbs over the factory forged aluminum wheels on my F8. Amazing. I can't wait to get them on track!

If they are fabricated using actual Magnesium, remember the fire hazard there.

"Although pure magnesium is highly flammable, it is very difficult to ignite in mass or bulk. Additionally, no magnesium wheels are 100% magnesium, but an alloy composed with other elements/ingredients. There are a number of ways to fully minimize the likelihood of magnesium wheels’ ignition."

Ouch. What was wrong with the wheels that came on the car from Ferrari? Just didn’t like the look even though they fit perfectly?

Nothing. I just wanted a separate set of track wheels with Cup 2 tires and street wheels with Super Sports.

That's a solution. But these are custom wheels that I bought for my car and found out later I needed special size lug bolts for in the size specified by Patrick at Litespeed. The Titanium bolts cost $200 and with spacers I'd need longer bolts and the bolts would be different front and rear. None of that is a deal killer except i spent $13,000 for custom wheels that don't fit

5mm? 10mm? Would a thin spacer like 5mm require longer bolts?

Yeah, the 17mm bolts are just barely long enough

I'm just wondering if there is a way to make your package work without getting into a long, expensive, and frustrating legal battle with a company that won't do the right thing. The cost of spacers and new titanium bolts is trivial compared to lawsuit costs.

Litespeed either does the right thing or I'll dispute it with the credit card company and they can fight it out
