    Its a lot easier and cheaper to just extend the antenna.

    I wouldn't want that much range but I'd definitely like to extend mine.

    Once you move the antenna from behind the metal bracket the range is over 30 ft. That fix is free. Why would I want more range (what's the benefit) and now much is that worth compared to the free solution? I don't mind spending for something good but this looks like a solution in search of a problem.
