Probably just a rebodied velar or evoque...kinda sad that the underpinnings of so many in tata line up are all shared with Jaguar and other models

It's just the world we live in now, it's too expensive to have multiple vehicles all with different engines/chassis/etc.

Right. In no way will it please the hardcore Land Rover Defender traditionalists. It's also too funky looking to those who like the highly stylized and appealing Range Rover models. I can't see it doing well.

Almost perfect. Wish that particular one had portal axles. Conversion kits are "only" like $15k lol. Add on bead locked wheels and central tire inflation for another $7k. It would be perfect with them. I need to find a solid 25 year old Defender overseas and import...the NAS ones are way overpriced.

What’s interesting is I don’t find it ugly. It’s simply NOT a Defender. It looks like a new Disco. Not a defender. It’s clearly not designed to do what a DEFENDER is EXPECTED to do.

I may be changing my mind on this the more videos I watch. :/ Lolol It would be cool to have a raptor style version of it.

Agree. They can put whatever badge they want on it, but it’ll never live up to its moniker.

Yes too bad it appears to simply be a rebody. Wish it was unique.
