Ok, I got my latest car care item & thought others might be interested as well. It's the Makita battery powered blower. The size is just about perfect for use as a car drying device. Its about 22 inches long and weighs about 4-5 pounds with the battery attached. The black nozzle is made soft rubber so it should not damage paint finish. It charges from lifeless battery to full charge in about 40 minutes.

I've not tried it on a wet car yet, but it seems like to will do the job very well.

    Regards,
    Rob.

And if any small particle gets sucked into the air intake side, it gets efficiently blasted into your paint at 125 mph. Sounds good.

And that sounds so much worse than driving 125mph with those same small particles in the air getting blasted into the finish.

I think it might work well, let us know.

    What is it designed for?

You need a small nozzle to get velocity...will this do it?

Yes, I believe so. The nozzle is pretty small... I'll post my impressions after first use.

    Rob.
