Need recommendations for wheel refinishing in MA?

    The subject line pretty much says it all.

    I had used Rim & Wheel Works in Newton in the past who appears to have moved to Waltham at some point, but someone posted on their Yelp listing that they may be out of business and their website is down.

    I have one wheel that just needs cosmetic refinishing (not straightening) from a small patch of curb rash.

    Thanks in advance for your advice!

    Rim pro is the best- Fairly quick, they'll true the wheels and refinish them- Not cheap.

    For paint only I've used Paul at Scratch and Dent Wizard in Shrewsbury- (508) 842-4511

    Tell him Jay sent you- He's done several sets Ferrari sets for me in the correct finish as well as a bunch of Porsche and Mercedes wheels.

    We use RimPro...Adam is a great guy and they do a good job. I've used them for 10+ years for all my Ferrari wheels.

    You can call them directly or I can dismount the tires and they will pickup the wheels from us.

    These guys did my rims on my Elise and did a totally fantastic job. Looked new and they had some beating from a slight miscalculation on a track day :)

    I was told by my local shop that Rim Pro will not do a two tone rim, IE aluminum face spokes with paint inbetween.

    Can anyone verify this ?

    Rimpro does great work but cant do some two tone or machined faced wheels...depends on the finish of the wheel. PM or email me for details

    I actually stopped by Rim Pro yesterday on my way to Willmington, and dropped off the wheel for them to look at. They will get back to me on Monday to see if it's fixable, or at least fix the curb rash and then I can have it repainted elsewhere.

    BTW, I stopped by your work yesterday, talked with Matt, I like the new Vanquish in the showroom, along with the 1993 Lotus !!!
