    I have always wanted a personalized plate, but have never wanted anything obnoxious. Case in point, my friend's Range Rover has the plate 'GETUWET'

    I would much rather have a personlized plate that is a reference to some type of racing term, technique, strategy, etc...

    Another friend of mine has 'DWNSHFT' which I thought was perfect, but it wouldn't be too cool of me to take the same plate in my state.

    So let's hear any ideas you gents might have...

    I have only come up with a few so far, and they don't seem that great.

    APEX(taken)
    APEXIT
    L8APEX (makes me look like a bad driver)
    HOTLAP (not sure how people will interpret this who don't know jack about racing)
    UDNF
    FLATOUT
    NVRLIFT
    NOLIFT
    OVRSTR (oversteer?)

    U8DUST (maybe a little too in your face)
    I know I know, these are pretty bad, but I know you guys can do better!
    7-letter max, so FlOOR IT as suggested below would read 'FLOORIT'

    yep. perhaps 1 in 500 "clever" plates that i see on the road i don't think "tosser".

    or

    How about XLR8...? Or XLR8R... How about 4RENEXT...? (or a more specific derivative: 308NEXT, F50NEXT, NNONEXT)...

    How about MTHDMN8 (Method Man 8), though the reference is so arcane, i almost don't even get it... :)

    How about RRRE (Three R E, as opposed to: RRRRE, Four R E) - with three Rs instead of four, when people ask, you could just say, "Well, it's not quite a Ferrari..." :)

    Too bad you can't get punctuation on a license plate... 'cause then you could get: ?.?

    I have also considered a personalized plate but I don't need more attention than I have. If I were you I would most definitely stay on the humor gig and away from the more taunting plates. ;)
