Need help planning a lounge

    OK, so I've been "assigned" the task of designing a lounge for Scuderia Rampante's new digs in Erie. Dave so far is planning on having a vintage World War II airplane wing as the bar with a vintage turbine engine as a coffee table and a vintage helicopter either hanging over the lounge or on top of the dyno room. No I'm not kidding.

    He has some really nice tables, chairs, wood and glass display cases, etc. to be used in the indoor lounge. I need opinions about what else we might need, how it might be arranged, and what other theme we could have besides vintage aircraft (I know we a car theme but what kind)?

    We also need to outfit the covered outdoor patio next to the indoor lounge for summer and winter use. I've included some photos, a schematic and blueprints to show as best as I can the area under consideration. The area is quite congested now I know, but it will be cleaned and ready for suggestions in short order. ANY comments are welcome!!!

    Thanks Joe, very cool! I need to think of a way to combine the vintage with the modern without it costing a small fortune.

    Check out some of the pictures of John Martins Car Club on line. The private club is in downtown Colorado Springs and is amazing.

    Yep, been a member for some time now. One of the coolest things are the $70,000 simulators. Anyone wanting to check it out let me know. More than happy to do lunch or dinner. They've got a pretty good chef as well.

    I went to check it out, great food and great atmosphere... I joined immediately.

    By any chance do you live in the north springs? that's the only area I have heard of a 328 running around...

    If I remember right from a visit a few weeks ago, the patio is on the north side of the building? Will it remain open to the weather or are there plans to enclose it?
