Howdy y'all. Some of you may remember me from my FOC days and all the Shenanagans Jerry, Nat, Mo, Joe, Isaac, and crew used to get into.

Well, I'm heading back to town for the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Village of Holly, MI. The reason why this is important to me is because my Father happened to be the mayor of Holly back when they cellebrated their 100th year (1965). The committee organizing the upcoming celebration thought it would be nice to include his family in the event and I thought, shoot, my dad loved cars, I love cars, I'd love to get some of my old friends and some new ones too to bring out their cars to participate in the parade.

No fees or anything, I just need to know if you can participate by 9/7 so I can let the organizers know how many fo us to expect.

Again, this is Saturday, 9/12. I would suggest meeting around 9:30am or 10am, the parade is supposed to leave from the VFW Hall at 201 Airport Drive, Holly, MI.

I wish I could bring my 456 GT up for the event, I just can't swing it so I would love it if you could bring your cars, invite your friends with cool cars, no restrictions, old, new, exotic, muscle, I4, V6, V8, V10, V12, flat 12, flat 6, normally aspirated or not! :)

So far I have Marc with his 355 and Alfa Spider, he is working on his neighbor who has a Cobra replica. I was hoping Nat would be able to bring out his CS but he is racing that day.

So, come one, come all! If you are interested and can make it shoot me an email [email protected]

I'd love to hear from you!

How long do you have to parade for?
Maybe the breakfast drive gang can meet up & go up there.
    I think I'm out, though.

I was asking in terms of time.
Doesn't everyone in the south measure "how long is the drive?" in time?
I'm out, anyways, just checking for the others...

Let's get a good showing for Mike, who was instrumental to many of the drives in the S/E Michigan area for quite some time time. Here are a few photos from the past that he was no small part in. The Holly Hotel is also a great place to eat, and perhaps even has a great comedy show that evening.

Thanks for posting those pics Isaac, we sure had some great times. That drive from Nat and Jennifer's house was epic.

I'd love to ship the 456 up for the parade but with a new baby on the way in about a month my financial responsibilities will be centered all around that.

    The flyer.

    No fee to participate.

Lots of fun for the whole family!

Classic, modern, exotic, muscle, hot rod, heck even fancy golf cart!

I would love to make this the biggest part of the parade!

Those were the days! We used to pull together 10-15 cars on relatively short notice to Hell. The pictures that Isaac posted at Nat's house, that was the most attended drive I've ever been on! I think it took us what seemed like 20 minutes just to get everyone out of his driveway!

What a great mix of cars too! Ferrari, Nsx, mustang, corvette, lamborghini, noble, lotus, Mazda, etc. I really miss those days.
