    Boo!

I never, ever thought I'd be an Audi guy. After a disappointing E46 M3 ownership experience, my RS4 has changed me. It's probably the best "car" (you know, 4 wheels, 4 doors) I've ever owned. Fun to drive. Lots of power. And frankly, much better looking than the current fleet of Bangelized nonsense.

The S8 is spectacular. It's so exquisitely appointed and with that "Lamborghini" powerplant... Fast as all hell.

"993 Guy" has an Audi hook-up, if I recall correctly.

Not to be contrary, but I had an RS4 for 5 months - it was in the shop for 5 weeks - The service I got was beyond terrible - I chalk it up to Voldswagen DNA. While the car was great when I had it, they could never sort out the steering issues - 4 degrees off camber when the car was a few weeks old (did not hit any potholes, etc.)! The dealer adjusted it - felt floaty again, they readjusted it - same thing again - said it was the tires - replaced two - same issue popped up and they said it was a lower control arm - or a bushing maybe - said they ordered the part - took forever - still no fix - then, finally, said I need a new lower control arm - but it was not a warranty item!! Spoke with the regional service rep - was very nice but given that this is a "halo" car for Audi, they couldn't care less.

Threw in the towel - will never buy another Audi nor will I suggest anyone else get one -

    Your mileage may vary......

Sounds like a typical Audi experience, thats why I suggested a BMW. To each his own.

    try finding it used.

There are some ready to buy on ebaymotors.com

Let someone else eat the desperation (is that right?) on the car.

if you want t new, then more power to you.

    try Riverside Audi.

From what i've heard on Audiworld.com, they're great. #1 largest Audi dealer in the world.

Above all, the S8 is ONE HELL OF A CAR.

I also heard a lot good things about Riverside Audi. They just moved to new showroom in Secaucus, NJ - right off the rt. 3E (local lanes). I'm passing by them everyday on my way to work. As far as I remember Shivam bought his RS4 from them too.

I called Anthony at Town. Very nice guy. I got all the info I need. The car is not for me. I still havent gotten the I T C H back for a new car. Maybe later in the year.

There are two newer ones on Ebay. The MA one the guy is a wholesaler and is asking top dollar. The GA one has a lot of miles.

Thank you for all your help.

Bro... We lost our licenses and got popped but what a great story. I still tell it to this day. I miss hanging with you guys too. If there ever is a run and someone has an open seat, call me in advance. Jen will let me out once in a blue moon. She actually brought it up the other day.

I quoted you because its not little one... it's little ONES. We have two now. Madds is 2.5 and we have a (not so) little guy that is just over a year old. Nice jewish names for the kids; Maddelina and Donato.

Which reminds me, ERIC--Hows your family? You have two by now if memory serves me. I cant watch a Dunkin Donuts ad without thinking of you. ERIC RUNS ON DUNKIN.

Jawad--Jen asks about you too. SOMEDAY--SOMEDAY we will smoke those stogies together.

Hope you guys are all good.
